joined with Beth Stacy here at the cat
show the beauty pageant with the
vermelha cats which are quite rare as I
hear what exactly do they look for in a
cat show cuz this you know I’ve never
been to a catcher well you’re very
correctly described it as a beauty
pageant so it’s like Miss Universe but
for Pussycat basically because the cats
are judged on how well they meet the
standard for their greed every breed has
a written standard and every judge knows
the standards off by heart so there’s a
number of points allocated for head and
feet and coat and color and the judge
will judge the cat according to that and
the one that is absolutely closest in
the judges mind is going to be the one
that wins at least in that breed so a
day for a cat before the pageant is like
going to the spa getting your nails done
absolutely it’s not exactly a holiday
though for the owners because the owners
are the ones who have to bathe them and
clip the nails and make sure that they
meet everything that this little boy is
just just eligible to be in a show he’s
four months and four days old and you
have to be four months old to be in a
cat show
wow so he had on them yet yeah he had
his first bath he this is his first big
trip out of town he loves the hotel room
so far he loves all the people he does
not appear to have a nervous ball now
and out of our bodies happiest can be
he’s very unusual for a burr Miller a
Burma is a hybrid cat man-made breed
they were originally came from
chinchilla Persians and European Burmese
and the furs on the flexion syllabus is
America I so stopped yes and the
beautiful ticking comes from the
chinchilla Persia Wow but the shape of
the body and the head comes from the
European Bernie so he’s made great house
cats they make fabulous house cats
because they’re incredibly sociable and
if you see the two girls yeah they’re
very full curie in the markings are very
very exotic very exotic this little girl
over here is a year old and she is only
wants to be on the microphone you don’t
have to say my name is Dan yeah I got
his nail was down there he had a
beautiful back radius sweetheart well
good luck little family pussycat and
thank you back you’re welcome
