Cancelled Soap Opera: Another World

our last candle soap is another world my
personal favorite it debuted in may of
nineteen sixty four and the MDC soap air
for 35 years exploring the lives of the
quarries the frame the Hudsons and many
other families that soon became part of
the viewers family as well another world
was also the first soap to expand to the
one hour format and also was the first
soap to have spin-offs in the form of
somerset and texas unfortunately weather
was due to lower range there may be some
backstage politics NBC decided not to
renew another world contract and instead
they signed Sunset Beach so another
world fans said goodbye to their soap in
June of 1999 with the wedding of cash
and Lila but it is interesting to note
that only six months after another world
one off the air so it’s sunset beach so
if you love these soaps and you would
love to see that and you’re lucky enough
to have soapnet you can catch all the
reruns there
