California’s Geography

you can go swimming in the ocean and
skiing in the mountains all in the same
day in the same state hi I’m Rebecca
Brayton and welcome to watchmojo.com and
today we’ll be showing you the geography
of California typical of California and
geography are foggy shorelines Alpine
mountains and lush valleys California is
home to the biggest most massive and
oldest trees in the world including
redwoods and sequoias California is
divided into northern and southern
California with San Francisco being part
of the north and Los Angeles belonging
to the south to the west of California
lies the Pacific Ocean this section of
water is bountiful however because
temperatures in the ocean rarely surpass
65 degrees the sea life is most similar
to an Arctic environment there are
several volcanoes located in California
examples include Mount Shasta and Lassen
Peak Lassen Peak last erupted in 1917
although it is famous for its warm
beaches and its abundant snow-capped
mountains there is much more to
California’s geography than meets the
eye
