years it was funny my best friend

it was in the organization that can help
improve communication skills and
leadership skills good evening ladies

Sarah’s friends I didn’t take it
seriously I thought I was good speaker
at that time then I came over just to
pay a visit so you know what are we
gonna talk about how are you doing
that’s the moment I realized I wasn’t as
good as I thought my name is Liz
Crompton I’m a member of the speaker’s
style Toastmasters club for the last
year I’m a freelance writer and editor
this is not a quarter million people to
our members in many many clubs than many
many countries I was very used to
calling people up as a journalist you
were in the habit of doing a lot of cold
calls and asking people for certain
things that you need I certainly found
that when I was being interviewed for
radio interviews or for television that
it really helped to come up with sort of
better presence without using um
naza be a little bit nervous but to be a
little bit more in control of what you
were saying Chris are you ready go ahead
we’re gonna have to do speeches in front
of my class I found myself getting
really nervous and relying on notes and
kind of fumbling around and I thought if
I don’t do something about this now and
I get out of school into the job world
it’s not going to go well public
speaking and communication skills are
really a key thing to e to be good at in
your personal life or in your
professional life it’s really key that
you can get up in front of an audience
and speak and convey your ideas
leadership skills communication skills
are even more important because you have
to know how to coach a person how to
resolve conflict how to inspire
everybody’s having fun it’s safe you’re
getting feedback but you can make the
mistakes there and learn from them that
when you’re outside in the real world
that you don’t make the mistakes as much
I can feel myself getting better you
notice your improvement a lot it’s
unbelievable everyone can become a
better communicator a better leader or
