Bumpy Ride with Singer Mohombi – Interview

Edison Malisha he for watchmojo.com it’s
about to be a bumpy ride or a Manman
mohombi
check it out success thank you so much
I’m it’s exciting exciting times ahead I
just flew down from from the Grammy
Awards in LA and then I had a video
shoot with pitbull yesterday so yeah you
know it’s a bumpy ride I keep it going
going going now I’m here happy to be
here well we should actually we shot the
video I called it bumpy ride part two
because his on the remix so that’s gonna
be like the US version of the song and
so we just had to add him to the video
of course and take it to the next level
and you know I had a couple of
good-looking girls and
so let’s talk about bumpy ride I read
the lyrics so I want to know where were
you and when did you write the song
I was actually partying and I remember
this is the next morning and being an
adult if you wake up after a party you
kinda have a headache and you know bad
that morning and I said like whoa and
that morning I wasn’t feeling that I was
still in the in the you know in the
party mode so I was like shit I need to
write a smash and I had never said that
in my life cuz when I write songs I just
ride it feels good and I’m like well
this is a good song but I was like okay
now I’m gonna write a smash I put that
pressure on myself I’ve never done that
before I should do it more often
so you did this song also in French
correct I actually learned French in
Congo because I was born there and moved
out to Sweden almost 12
I’ve always been back and forth Sweden
and Congo so yeah I learned French
actually in school it was my first
language they see my formula long
growing up in Europe and in Africa USA
and it’s beyond it’s not even American
dream Ian Morris even you know it’s so
hard to get there so my dream as a kid
was to become successful in France
so actually bumpy ride became a huge
smash in France in both languages
because I had a conversation Wyclef Jean
about importance of being able to sing
in multi languages it opens up doors for
you internationally are you gonna
continue doing songs in French in
English this is one shot the songs have
feel that I can’t translate and that I
want to translate I try I do it because
why not a lot of songs even in my album
even though the songs are in English I
might I started writing them
