they’re great live shows and pensive
lyrics have helped these Scottish
rockers cultivate a diverse and loyal
fan base hi I’m Rebecca Britain and
welcome to watchmojo.com and today we’re
speaking with biffy clyro about their
fans I talk to God as much as I talk to
Satan cuz I want to hear both sides
let’s talk a bit about the fan base who
would you expect to see a tab if aclaro
sure you can see anybody of every class
show absolutely he could see people and
buggies to holding a walking sticks to
pay for instance a really really de
veras flying beasts we have I don’t know
hey we’ve managed to do that as maybe
because we haven’t ever had a target
audience in her head music you can find
like somebody with a proper punk warthog
and studies no jacket or like a black
male fan you know from that to just
chart music people literally they all
come to death it shows an a we thing
that really special and they might not
get med leash fans if followers writings
the country is just bath with me it’s
amazing and we’re so thankful to them
for little support
and what is the band’s relationship like
with the fans I mean how do you guys
reach out to them do you tend to use the
social media networks and stuff like
that every rubbish it that we’re I think
we’re just tiny bit too old i’m gonna
use as an excuse anyway just a
generation gap away from that can
internet vibe and we’re not very
internet savvy we don’t tweet it’s cold
and some of those on behalf so what we
do to give back is we’re trying to be
the fans out there shows in the
conservation legs like their food is
only 300 people then you can afford to
meet kids back home is a bit tougher
when there’s thousands of people but we
try and meet fans other things to do but
women really singles we always put
really sitting like a few different
formats with lots and lots of different
b-sides so that if the fans are buying
sex angles it’s not a waste of money for
them and get the reward of all these new
songs so it you know we do our best with
your Facebook other see what will crap
on that all night stuff
I just wanted take
now you mentioned the North American and
European audiences so why don’t we have
you compare them for us they’re actually
very compatible to be honest and I would
see North America agencies are very
similar to you kyoden sees notable of UV
DS all over Europe and stuff and
especially going as far as Japan is
different than again australia australia
is more like you ok but I think North
America is there’s a bit more whip
working on a bit more yeah whooping all
that stuff I shouldn’t really get that
much that than York either in between
songs you get you may be shouting things
but here it’s always you can I mean once
yours I see it might be entirely
different we’ve only done Montreal a
couple of times and kept remember that
they’re being that many were quips but
she only North America’s all about the
whip watch would you do here we tend to
riot riot we’re a riot city thanks
what’s cool photo thank you very much
for your time thank you for boys
shipping it wasn’t painful at all thank
