this is Chris again here with
watchmojo.com here’s the 2007 Arcadia
Games Festival this year things are
looking pretty interesting I got a
chance to go over to Nintendo’s booth
where they have the incredible super
mario galaxy links crossbow training and
Mario Sonic Olympics and over in a few
missions Boop the incredible call of
duty 4 was on display looking better
than ever so join me let’s have a look
around today we find ourselves in the
activation booth and behind me I have
the incredible call of duty 4 modern
warfare now
finally takes the cities I’ve got world
war two setting into a more modern day
setting I have to say it really
a good move on their part because the
game looks absolutely fantastic one of
the most impressive things that I
noticed about it is the in-game really
does replicate that feeling and
sensation you get from television media
sort of news war coverage feeling a
little tingly right now for obvious
reasons behind me the incredible super
mario galaxy this game right now is
running on a 480p widescreen high
definition unit I think a lot of people
would agree that this is by far the
best-looking wii game up today the
gameplay looks to really follow that
classic Mario formula from mario 64 and
really improved on it and this sort of
innovative planetoid mechanics seems to
work really really well especially while
the gravity is sort of taking account
for in the game place behind me over
here i have the much speculated about we
zapper so as you can see here the wii
zapper is essentially a unit that you
slip your wii controller into with a
nunchuck and that allows you to sort of
shoot at games reminiscent of the old
Nintendo zapper style but more of as
tommy guns dynamic about it it’s
packaged with this game we see behind us
here links crossbow training and though
this game does take a lot of the assets
from the twilight princess that came out
on the wii last year it does seem to be
a totally new take on the sort of Hyrule
universe by giving you a chance to sort
of trained on how to use the zapper by
sort of aiming targets amongst that sort
of a Hyrule backdrop it’s behind me
over here we have a game that a lot of
us thought we’d never see ever come to
fruition and that’s the mario and sonic
olympics now for the first time mario
sonic are actually in a game together
and they’re competing at the olympic
games so we’ve seen Mario do tons and
tons of spin-offs mario tennis you know
mario golf but never has he been up
against sonic so the age-old question of
you know who’s a better mass and
maybe finally be answered I just don’t
know exactly are we gonna work out the
whole racing dynamic though because I
don’t see how Mario can beat sonic in
the race for that that’s an argument for
another day
