Arcadia Festival – Excite Truck

so you’re behind me we actually have
excite truck now excite truck is a game
that’s debuting with the wii on launch
an ex I truck is basically sort of
throwback to the old excitebike back on
the old NES now excite truck uses the Li
mo in an interesting way you actually
took the controller sideways and you
steer the game as if you were actually
behind the wheel of the trucks now
excite truck boasts some pretty nice
graphics for the wii especially
considering that it’s a launch title and
it really seems to have that sort of
visceral feeling of speed ideally what
you do in the game much like the first
excitebike in order to gain more speed
is you need to actually lend your truck
properly so not only do you boost let’s
say from a jump but in order to get more
boost once you arrive on grounds you
actually need to land it than all four
wheels make contact with the ground at
the same time so really what Nintendo is
showing us here is just one of those
basic simple intuitive ways to
incorporate the wiimote into something
you know as conventional as a driving
game sort of reinvent again the more
exciting and then sort of appealing way
to the general masses
