for the most disappointing frustrating
or otherwise poorly constructed game
endings I’ve too long to not know this
day would go new or old abrupt or drawn
out anything that pushes our buttons and
leaves us fuming is on the table let me
show you the Tron number 10

choice can be a wonderful thing but what
happens when every option is kind of
terrible stop now you fool you insect
I order you to stop at the end of this
fantasy RPG the hero of Boers stone
stands victorious over the evil Lord
Lucien Fairfax after a seriously
anticlimactic standoff and innumerable
lives lost in the process
why must you interfere
oh I thought it’d never shut up
fortunately for the hero the serous the
Reza has the power to grant one wish she
can resurrect the innocent people lost
in the conflict revived the hero’s
family or gift the hero with a million
gold pieces what what do you choose no
matter which choice you make something
of value is gonna get lost a wish was
made and the world will bear its
consequences number nine Assassin’s
Creed 3 yes this is it we’re right
behind you sometimes it sucks to be the

choice at the end of 2012 Assassin’s
Creed 3 is this not why you fight is

will repel oncoming solar flares the
grounds will crack ass spit fire into
the skies
or he can let the flares hit and become
a messiah that inspires a religious war
you will be remembered first as a hero
later as a legend and in time as a God
naturally since the latter option is
frickin stupid desmond elects to give
his own life and in the process the
world’s future is kind of uncertain it’s
done Minerva the decisions made number
eight the order 1886 this is not the
outcome I saw it one of the first major
games of 2015 and it ends with such a
whimper finish what you have begun

our werewolf killing hero Galahad has
just bested his former ally Lucan and
can regain his status among the titular
order only surprise Lukens father and
Lord Chancellor of the same order comes
along to kibosh that plan I never meant
this life for you you knew instead
Galahad must kill Lucan and remain in
disgrace to protect the status quo we’re
not sure whether to be angered or
shocked by this story turn but we’re
certainly not feeling amicable the
revelation would shake our order to its
many foundations so I am to be
sacrificed this also leaves the door
open for an obvious sequel that
absolutely no one is asking for at this
point number seven alone in the dark
kill me questionable choices seem to be

prevent the rise of Lucifer paranormal

themselves standing before an

Island they just gloss over this whole
mess of an ending with the line I don’t

number four Super Mario Brothers 2 this
one gives new meaning to the phrase life
is but a dream imagine you just faced
off against the evil Frog King wart and
now you’re being treated to the heroes
of Super Mario Brothers to enjoying
their success suddenly the screen shifts
to that of a sleeping Mario and the
message is clear the game you just
played was all Mario’s dream not only
does that undercut the feeling of
victory it’s also ridiculous in light of
the game introducing certain iconic
enemies and characters into Mario’s
cannon number 3 – human the dead
themselves walk upon this earth and I am
among them we’d really appreciate some
clarity on this one I’d drink up lad
there is much morning to be done to
human ends with the Acer corporation
cybernetically enhanced versions of the
Norse gods celebrating their victory
over evil all except the undead God
Bowser who’s weary of his comrades
attitude did you toast to me when I lay
upon a marble slab in Hell now although
this official ending is a muddled mess
there’s also a cliffhanger after the
credits that Kees is a sequel which as
we know now is definitely never gonna
happen we must find him

Liberty can I ask you something

released phantom pain also hit
controversy for its somewhat
