watchmojo.com and a part two of our
interview with amberlynn host stephanie
gets to ask the band about their
philosophy as well as their humanitarian
efforts you co-founded an organization
called faceless International zoning if
you could speak a bit more about this
well it’s just an organization inviting
everybody anybody can go along doesn’t
you’ll have to be in a band you have to
be in the entertainment business so we
just go to a country whatever the need
is we try to fill it whether it’s to
fight human trafficking or go down to
Guatemala and work with a fair trade
coffee growers oh we’re going this
summer to an orphanage in the Ukraine
and just and helping with the building
construction and and working a lot with
the kids you guys traveled to Kenya to
talk about AIDS awareness and you also
went to India for human trafficking to
educate about that so is earning what do
these causes mean to you guys we realize
that like humanity is much bigger than
amberlynn you know it’s not our whole
world isn’t just surrounded by you know
music I mean we as in North America take
so much for granted you know like the
fact that we’ve we’ve been absolutely
blessed and living in to a first world
country with opportunities and you know
an education stuff like that so life I
think has purpose when it’s not about
ourselves when it’s all about other
people and it’s about you know helping a
collective instead of just me myself and
being so egocentric you know the onset
of amberlynn I think that was the
altruism aspect of it all kind of was
like integrated from day one we never
sat down we’re like okay we’re gonna we
want a gold record we want millions of
dollars it was like you know what let’s
go see the world let’s go have a great
time with our friends go share our art
and on top of that and we started get
involved with humanitarian causes like
you know everything from toms shoes to
Habitat for Humanity to to write love on
her arms and stuff like that so it’s
just kind of been integrated our daily
lives you know as
