they rode the rock wave to fame and
today they’re pop-punk energy keeps
winning them loyal fans welcome to
watchmojo.com and today we’re speaking
with Alex and Jack from all time low to
find out if they think rock and roll is
dead and what their go-to karaoke jams
are
I’m sure you get asked this a lot is
rock and roll did you know rock and roll
is not dead I mean just we’ve kind of
learned from our shows that it’s more
than a lot more alive than ever I think
our fans have a great time and they go
crazy like you still see mosh pits you
still see crowd surfing it’s cool I
don’t think it’ll ever die on the being
fully extinguish that flame it’s one of
those things I think it’s all cyclical
you know I think there’s a time and a
place for everything and maybe it’s not
at the forefront anymore but I think
it’ll come back around for sure who
other than yourselves who are the people
that kind of keeping alive right now I
think a huge part of what I may be
revived brockmore a little bit was the
Foo Fighters making another record and
around that yeah exactly and then around
that it seemed that there was kind of a
swell of bands reuniting blink getting
back together
the older generation of bands are our
kind of serving to encourage the new
generation I think as far as you know
they put down the keyboard and pick up a
guitar
favorite cover songs to do we did a
Cyndi Lauper cover recently
it was for an MTV thing that we did they
did like this global awareness thing and
they had bands in different parts of the
world cover the same song and it was
really rad like there was like a k-pop
group and a Japan a reggae group and
they all kind of performed the song in
their own style and it was fun getting
to put like a pop rock spin on Cyndi
Lauper I wish it could have been when I
think about you I touch myself but yeah
I can’t have everything you want once
had to karaoke got in a gay bar my
accident nice not awesome I will be
probably karaoke not in a gay bar
tonight on purpose hahaha do you have a
different physical sorry uh uh Oh
karaoke song okay karaoke song I like
that better what do we do we usually do
like N Sync or something in sinks a good
one um in a life hard yeah we everybody
goes into everybody goes into that
thinking they’re gonna nail it and
nobody can get past when you’re the
first court yeah exactly the perfect I’d
say versus not as easy as the first
verse no one knows what it is you don’t
usually skip the song by then like you
you listen through until you’re over in
the Yankee hard to do as well in Korean
any song and Koreans pretty hard to do
and you don’t speak Korean thanks very
much good thank you thank you in the
camera
