out warp tour this year we spoke with
Nathaniel from 303 about what the band’s
been working on and about their song
robot three two one as we last
interviewed you I believe you guys
started working on a new album so what
can you tell us about that yeah we have
been working kind of as opposed to our
elements out now streets of gold where
we really kind of had we really kind of
dedicated like three months to just work
on them we’ve kind of been doing this
stuff piecewise in between touring we’ve
been touring a lot so it’s really just
here and there after warp tour when this
when we get done with this one is really
when we’re going to kind of settle down
have some time off and probably put
together some stuff for album in 2012 I
think we had a you know a few songs done
and we wanted to release one for work
tour so we released a song called robot
it’s always nice to have any music’s
playin war nice to be able do that for
for our war fans that which I don’t know
I think are some of our older fans
anyways I’ve been listening to our music
for a while
sudeep’s you’re 20 years old I’m a
stoppers faces seafood stroll on the
beach you until we write the Pats are
let’s talk about robot a bit take us
through the song take us through the the
concept for the video the video is
awesome actually the video have you ever
seen a sexy sax man Sergio Flores hey
play that George Michael samel clear
we saw his video and we reached out to
him because we thought was really funny
and he ended up being you know a fan of
our band and we basically just paid for
him to be able to get the robot costume
made and it many like went and made this
video like on his own so it’s it’s like
it’s the first time we have an
unnecessary directly been in or involved
in a video and so it’s a little bit
weird but he could killed it he’s
awesome easy to sing the song itself you
know like I said it’s kind of an older
style for us which was cool to go back
to like a harder rap style I think it
incorporates some new production stuff
that I’ve learned in the past few years
kind of a hard brace of song abanazar I
mean those are something that we went
away from a little bit on some of our
stuff I think we still do it but it’s
nice to go back to and have fun
up in yourself sweet
now what has the response been like on
works fingers down like those people
booing no it’s been great warp is a cool
tour and it’s kind of that barrier
between band and fan is kind of broken
down a lot and so releasing a song on
warp is great because you can really see
firsthand what it goes like before it
was like now they know the words and
they sing along and nape it’s like a
long song for us it’s like over four
minutes something are usually our songs
are pretty shorten it and people are
into it the old song so it’s uh it’s
been cool I don’t love so thanks so much
