our number-one artist who passed away at
the age of 27 is of course the legendary
mr. Jimi Hendrix Jimi Hendrix was far
too young to die he again was was a
victim of excess but Jimi Hendrix and
his guitar playing is is still not only
does it inspire people today but you can
listen to one of the Jimi Hendrix albums
today and it is still as as
gut-wrenching and is fantastic to listen
to today as it was in the seventies and
that’s something you can’t say about
many artists I happen to personally love
Hendrix version of the star-spangled
banner’ that he played at Woodstock it’s
just one of these quintessential pieces
that really just exemplifies Hendrix and
what an amazing guy he was and what an
American he was and and how he just
encompassed the music and the culture
and and it’s just unfortunate that he
was taken from us all too soon so this
has been your list of the top ten
artists who passed away at the age of 27
