Where is Everyone? | Aman Burman | TEDxYouth@DubaiCollege

have you ever wondered where all the

aliens are are we the only living

organisms in the entire universe for

hundreds if not thousands of Union from

hundreds if not thousands of years

humans have had a fascination for trying

to make contact with aliens

even if aliens do exist there is no

chance of us finding up we can’t travel

beyond the local tree which is the

Galaxy group the comprises of the real

tree even if we activation record travel

at the speed of light it would take

really interviews just to reach

Parramatta galaxy which is the closest

galaxy to the Milky Way however if we

had generation spaceships that could

sustain life for millions of years it

would take approximately 2 million years

to colonize the galaxy now 2 million

years is actually not a lot considering

the size and magnitude of our Milky Way

scientists have also recently discovered

that planets are very calm that means

that there could be millions if not

billions of planets that may sustain

life and that should mean that there’s

enough opportunity for that to develop

right so if it takes aliens stuff takes

humans approximately 2 million years to

colonize the galaxy and if there are

many times that may sustain life and if

aliens might considerably more time than

we are

where are all the aliens the diameter of

the universe is 90 billion Titan 1 light

year is approximately nine point five

trillion kilometers that means that the

diameter of the observable universe is

855 with 21 zeros of day in kilometers

and imagine that there are 100 billion

galaxies there are approximately 10,000

stars for every gram of Sun there is on

there in a briefer perspective there are

many of their many planets stars and

galaxies in our universe with the great

humans have tried to contact aliens on

numerous occasions and we have tried

many different methods to do so so far

all the transmissions that we’ve sent

into space have gone unanswered and

judging by the wear

confusing and downright random stuff

we’ve said it might be a good thing if

it goes unnoticed around the same time

as the pioneer lodges humans started

toying with the idea of focus amplified

radio waves we knew that it was less

affected by cosmic dust than light we

also knew how to focus a point many

light-years into space in 1974

astronomers using a reticle radio

telescope in Puerto Rico to transmit a

message to a star cluster called m13 and

13 had an abundance of stars and was

thought to have the greatest amount of

greatest chance of containing an

intelligent life the only the only

downside 1013 was its location it was

located 21,000 90s away from the earth

if aliens ever did get a transmission we

take approximately 40,000 years for

humans together at night and this thing

might encourages us to preserve life

here on earth to understand one

potential difficulty with contacting

aliens we might want to understand their

Fermi paradox the Fermi paradox is the

paradox that states that humans will

never be able to contact aliens

no one has overcome the Fermi paradox

but we do have some theories one of

these theories is a filter a filter in

this context is an obstacle which which

is hard to overcome

there are many filters which still it

has overcome however there are some

turbocharged if this is true we’re

getting close closer to them than we

think we are we have to short an amount

of time to be able to find

extraterrestrial life we may also look

at the Drake Equation the Drake Equation

my kid must give us an idea of how many

civilizations that it says in the Milky

Way the Drake Equation is an attempt to

encapsulate all irrelevant variables and

establishing as

in the military which is broadcasting

radio signals at this particular time

the Drake Equation is composed of seven

different different elements the first

six are used to compute the rate at

which intelligent life is being created

at and the last one identifies how long

each or last corner bridge has a

broadcasting civilization it is worth

stressing that the Drake Equation only

applies to civilizations in the Milky

Way

we can’t out we can’t detect the radio

signals of civilizations in other

galaxies as they are too far away when

plugging in the original numbers of the

Drake Equation it comes out with a very

small number this means that the

probability of humans ever finding

aliens is very small and further it

shows why we must preserve life judging

by the difficulties with contracting

aliens if future seems quite startling

terms of success the future seems quite

stark in terms of success it’s difficult

to know what impression he aliens worth

have of us maybe aliens don’t want to

interact with us I think that they’re

too sophisticated maybe humans don’t

even have enough resources to be able to

contact aliens despite all this we must

be able to harness all the power and

energy here on earth and even the Sun

and the aliens might think of us as a

very accomplished civilization and we

may reach the day where aliens do

contact us maybe we’re alone in the

colossal universe we live in right now

there is no evidence that suggests that

aliens do exist we could be a small

speck in the 90 million light

light-years diameter of the universe

we’ve tracked a rare occasion whether it

detects a fast radio class this is not

strong enough evidence to prove that

aliens exist we we appeared to be a tiny

brain in an infinite universe the

universe have used to be empty lonely

dark and dead no interstellar messages

and no one answering the calls that we

send into space do these not scale if

they do you’re reacting the same as

other people if we let life die here on

earth then the universe will truly

become empty you must find a way to

generate to the size and even control

the universe the universe must be ventured by someone or something
