bloody massacres of the weak and
powerful week and that uniforms will
sway the courts but powerful and that
from beyond the grave their voices can
be heard loud and clear like the Bible’s
words
louder than dumb bar louder than king
louder than the racist mentality because
when you kill my people I will not be
alone when I weep because black white
yellow or brown you see we all feel the
pain this generation is shrinking
because we don’t look the same this is
what we’re preaching this is what he
preached that same love Dunbar had for
Douglas King had for this peace peace
that is so close peace that is so far
peace that will heal these scars scars
from the past scars in the future scars

healing a joyful heart is good medicine

let it run from our tongues and consume
you for its gathers and unites and makes
right the wrongs that we must go through
we do not want retribution we want your
hearts open and until that day we’ll
