[Music]
wouldn’t able to be there in person to
something that accompanied us it’s still
really great to be a part of this event
that it was just kidding
and hopefully my experience the music
will encourage you guys to follow your
dreams and make your passions reality so
I started making I was only watching
YouTube videos speed making videos
studio sessions people who just playing
instruments concerts anything musically
but never had given in to especially the
big mega videos they got to a point
where I was here is enough miniature and
back then I had concerns I didn’t have
this diamond in hand Minotaur I only had
the software on efforts to do the
feeding program predictions of near
familiar it’s the same program using
happiness just a new opportunity so I
started copying the melodies video but
you know thinking something’s changed
some things
I decided to start composing two years
my 14th birthday
yes my brother got me this team right
here
so I started teaching myself how to play
those melodies that
before about two people I still don’t
know how to read music
I’ve never taken any music theory
classes can I tell them somehow and then
four years later on my 18th birthday I
got my first guitar my only I had an
electric at some point I mean I mean I
got my acoustic guitar in the comments
all day and that helped me with the beat
making process especially became what I
found a way to connected to the program
and I started actually playing the
melodies like gentlemen people and when
I was confident enough to start a be
making project I had this idea of
basically fusing Sudanese music with the
other genres that I grew up listening to
like hip hop and jazz and R&B at that
point I was exploring how people get
into that yeah you know but that
probably for him Akashi say anything
anything from that era or even older and
I really love that sound
or like uniqueness thousand to any songs
I mean and then I’m not very unique but
at the same time I knew it would be a
great idea few some some of those songs
with some jazz chords or R&B portents I
just know would work but at the time it
felt like a really hard thing to do so I
kept trying
eventually I got it done and recently
execution that reason I released a we
take called three days and we take like
a mixtape that means an album it’s music
I mean it’s music it’s called briefcase
so earlier this year I released beatnik
stuff
it has 12 tracks each track has a sample
a Sudanese on some tracks were have some
rock jazz in somewhere like currently
some restitution of the Democratic and
something that it just it’s more I think
last time I checked
so the come two days ago it has over
600,000 plays or some over 400 reposts
and because it’ll be tape I managed to
reach 1 million place and told them on
something and I also got the chance to
you know we interviewed by some radio
stations some magazines and I’m still
getting you know you know message the
stranger news until this day so the and
that’s about it
I am currently working on some solo
projects collaborating with some
production companies some artists and
I’ll be releasing some new music so and
I have an idea for a project it’s not
confirming it but there is that nothing
I mean
and I made a performance video for you
guys that’s going to play right after
this video so I hope you guys like it
and you for listening god bless you and
goodnight
