when I was a young lad my mom and dad
got divorced and everyone is tired go
see my dad even though I loved him he
made some pretty bad sources and because
he made these sources me and my brothers
could not see him for two years
and when this happened understandably I
became sad because I could not see my
dad and I missed him in all honesty I
was also pretty angry with my dad for
making those bad choices kids see their
parents as heroes they won’t do anything
wrong and they will protect them not all
parents are the best at their job we
will do things that make you for hurt
but my mom did order a good nice and
loving parent would do and that was take
good care of me and my two brothers when
I was mad when I was mad at my dad

music called me and put what I was
feeling into lyrics a hero is someone
that you look up to because they used
their talents to create things that
inspire others lin-manuel Miranda uses a
skill and pass and create music that
teaches and inspires people including me
and my cousin Anand the year 2008 the
year that I was born lin-manuel Miranda
read a book about Alexander Hamilton he
was inspired by the book and wrote a rap
about the late founding father he
performed at the White House evening of
poetry music and spoken word in 2009 he
spent a year writing my second favorite
song from Hamilton called my SOT when I
was sad I would listen to my sod which
can be inspirational and advises you
when you have a chance to do something
good or important don’t we don’t
go for it just like lin-manuel Miranda
was inspired to become was inspired by
the book about Hamilton I was inspired
to become a writer as well I believe we
all have wonderful ideas and it is my
hope that my poem today will inspire you
like Lynne has inspired me I’m nine
years old that sounds young but that
doesn’t mean my pheasants done there are
lots of heart things in life some people
call them obstacles and some people call
it strife I had a hard time with some
stuff with my dad sometimes I never
think of it I got anger or got sad but
the hard stuff doesn’t last forever you
can learn how to change it with the

of the mother you sold me a new stand
with the good there was a bat with the
