The Dangers of Loving or Hating Too Much

If there is a theory of injury about the maturity stage of personality, this theory does not involve
Too idealistic or demeaning others. But this has to start from the babyhood.
In the mid-20th century, Melanie Klein was a psychoanalyst born in Vienna and very famous about
The amazing changes in the mind of the baby during the mother’s feeding.
(Image taken from Marie cassatt) When the mother is feeding,
The baby will feel happy and think that Mommy is a “good mother.” But if, in any case,
When the feeding process is not smooth, the baby is puzzled by how many hours or minutes it takes.
It seems that the same person is not feeding. And this process of breastfeeding is full of anger and hostility.
In order to endure this unhealthy process of feeding, the baby’s psychology separates the actual mother from the “bad mother” of the second character.
And this bad mother role is different, a nasty person, a person who is responsible for this frustrating process,
In such a process, the image of a good mother has always been preserved in the mind of the baby.
In the baby’s mind, there are two roles, one is a real good mother and the other is a real bad mother.
If everything goes well, slowly the child will go through a long and painstaking process.
Combine these two roles. And with sadness, it is true.
This child is unable to understand such a process, the “perfect” mother – just a normal and amiable person
But it can also be angry, it will be very busy, it will be tired, mother will do wrong things, and will care about others.
This process is very long, starting with the baby we are feeding. There is no complete loss for us.
Childhood self, the tendency to “split” people around us has always existed.
When we grow up, we will deeply fall in love with someone and will split this person into an ideal type.
In our eyes, this person is perfect and loves him. Just in us
When you find that you are frustrated by the trivial little things of this person,
We will suddenly and extremely hate this good friend (perhaps a celebrity, or perhaps a political figure) who has deeply touched us.
We categorically think that they can’t be good people because they have caused us a lot of pain.
Using only such logical judgments, they are considered to be scary.
We will find it very difficult to accept a person with two sides.
Sometimes it is very kind in some respects, and sometimes extremely disappointing.
The bad side can destroy the good side, although (of course) it is actually a different person with multiple levels of personality.
This is a great achievement in psychology, to accept one
People who don’t know how to have good and bad staggered characters are sometimes inclusive and help us, sometimes they are people who are very depressed.
Sometimes kind, sometimes despicable – and therefore, even less able to imagine when he makes us angry or ecstatic,
When most people belong to a slightly more serious, slightly optimistic, gray-scale character,
The so-called “good guys.” In the face of the contradiction between hope and reality,
Our culture should teach us a proper personality fusion technique so that we can further embrace a more tolerant heart.
To accept your own imperfections – and then, to extend to accept the imperfections of others.
We should remind ourselves that no one we love can fully satisfy us –
Even so, this can never constitute a reason to hate them.
We should stop distinguishing between human beings and not distinguishing naive and cruel people into terrible and surprising groups.
Classify these people as just a group of mature and wise “good guys”
Our short collection “What is the wrong marriage” suggests that we don’t need
Perfection will be happy. As long as we start, we are the right relationship.
