“Søren Kirkgard”
Soren Kirkcard, a 19th-century Danish philosopher, was a brilliant philosopher, bleak, anxious, and usually a horse.
He is the author of twenty-two books
Kirkgard was born to a very wealthy family in Copenhagen in 1813
He was the youngest of the seven sons
He had been dying from a young age and became obsessed with him throughout his career.
It was somehow his only subject.
He was not only physically weak,
All his brothers died except for one brother at the age of twenty-two,
This event has led to the production of a huge book over fifteen years
He produced three works in one day in 1843
He was not writing to make money, but was writing to survive by himself, and also, as he put it, for the salvation of mankind.
At the age of 42, he died of a severe disease in the spinal cord.
What Kierkegaard wanted in his book “Ama / O” and his book “Fear and Trembling”
Is to wake up and not to dwell on our comfortable emotional illusions
He regularly attacked the pillars of modern life
Such as our faith in the family, our confidence in work, our attachment to love,
And our general sense that life has meaning and purpose.
He was hostile to every aggressor whatever his appearance,
Especially the wealthy Danish bourgeoisie, members of the Danish Church.
“When I matured, I realized the real world, I began to laugh, and I did not stop then
I saw that the meaning of life is to gain a livelihood,
And that the purpose of living is to be a judge in a Supreme Court
And that the ultimate joy of love is to marry a rich woman,
And that the wisdom is in line with the majority opinion,
And that passion is manifested when giving a sermon,
The courage is to risk a $ 10 fine
And that affection is fulfilled by saying “health and wellness” after the meal,
And that the fear of God is your going to pray once a year.
This is what I realized, and I laughed “
Kirkcard’s critique of the nineteenth-century concept of love was stinging.
The idea of a new emotional marriage, which aimed to link pleasure and sanity,
And claimed that the individual can enjoy what love carries of pleasures,
While enjoying a stable and long-term relationship.
But Kirkgard ridiculed the possibility of having a romantic love in a marriage relationship,
That an individual can have a passion for love and sex, and at the same time, children, stability and a one-time life.
He respected both relations, but rejected the idea of their existence at the same time
In a traditional sacred marriage of the state and neighbors
His belief was derived from his bitter experience of love
He fell in love with a beautiful, talented and mature girl of over 18, Regin Olson
To break the speech when he realized that his attempt
To live with his beloved forever would mean killing his love for her
Kickgard sees that wherever he goes he will see intolerable variations and impossible choices.
This is what led him to the saying in the book of either / or
“Married and will regret, do not get married and will also regret”
“Married or not married, will regret in both cases”
“Laugh at the idiot of this world and will regret”
“Or you cry it, you will regret too”
“Kill yourself and you will regret, do not kill yourself and you will also regret”
“Either you kill yourself or you do not kill yourself, you will regret both options”
“This gentlemen is the essence of all philosophy”
Male laughter is not a coincidence
He has an important role to play in Kirkgard’s philosophy, where he believes that the only intelligent answer to the horrors of life is to laugh at it defiantly.
Philosophers rarely used humor with that seriousness
Kirkkard is often described as the founder of the existential philosophical movement
Because we have all the ideas that have been taken care of by later thinkers such as Carter, Camus and Heidegger
The existentialists were particularly impressed by the book “Concept of Concern” published in 1844,
Which highlighted the term invented by the concern “angst”
This term describes our situation when we realize the number of options we face
At the same time, we understand our limited awareness of how these options are being exercised
As Kierkegaard wrote, “Life is understood only in the opposite direction to its direction of life”
Our continuing concern requires that we have to live a life of dignity
As he wrote, “Whoever thinks about it will acknowledge my words when I say
That no one can be absolutely satisfied in every aspect of his life “
“Not even for half an hour of his life”
“None of us came to this world except crying, no one will ask you when you want life, no one will ask you when you want to die”
“Is not this life empty and trivial? Bury someone and cover him with dirt”
“We bring a wagon, and we leave by car, and forgetting ourselves that is still in our age enough”
But what is 70 years shorter than life, why not only end it? “
Kierkegaard had a stark answer to his recent work: Christ Jesus
Kierkegaard hated the Danish Christian Church
But he was fond of simple facts in the Bible books that his father taught him.
For him, Christianity was a religion based on the total surrender of a very simple doctrine.
The individual must be prepared for the redemption of Christ, to dispense with all that he associates with earthly things, and to love all men as he loves his brothers.
Kirkkard was not interested in rationalizing his faith
Instead, he suggested what was known as the “leap of faith”
Which does not require that the individual use his or her own minor mind to prove the existence of God
A person must give up his missing mental powers, and go beyond believing that the idea of God is the best solution
As Kirikard puts it, “the meaning of faith is the loss of your mind and the gain of God”
Such as Marxist communism, Kirkgard’s solutions to existential problems
It was less convincing and exciting than diagnosing our diseases;
Despite this, Kirkgard deserves our attention; for his beautiful, timid look on the human condition
He is one of the few philosophers who turn to them from the failure of life and became in need of a friend
A friend can understand the dark places that we turn to when the emotional delusions that have long kept us clinging to life fall.
