However – as we know in our hearts – it is very important
To keep an appointment with someone we neglected from time to time during our life disorders
A deeper and quieter part of ourselves
We feel at night on the highway
Or in the gloomy dormancy of an early morning
It seems that all the things we do have great importance
But, to remain rational, we need to listen to a different and more modest speech:
That all we do is really meaningless
When we look at it from a sufficient distance
From the perspective of timeless stones
Violent seas and infernal skies
From here, you can see Venus and the Jupiter in the dark sky and when the dusk grows stronger you can
You see distant stars, Aldbran, Anromeda, pregnancy and billions of possible stars
Beyond your weak vision
In order to counter our tendency to exaggeration and panic, we need to contemplate our trifle
When we compare it with infinite time and space
And even on our own planet, there is much that is strange and wondrous and “another”
The whole is not different for us
This is the village of Roca Kandal, near Krati in Cambodia.
Nearly 500 families live here
About 800 children go to the local school.
Children play May Khamin – They put a bottle in a box in the sand, and they flatten elastic bands on it
If you can hit the bottle, you are the leader –
Most of the villagers are farmers. To relax, they play ball or go to the local cinema.
They do not know anything about you or about your sorrows and gossip about you and dilemmas
your career life.
And you, so far, know nothing about them!
We live a lot in the minds of others and we are always over-dramatized about who we are? What do we do?
We should learn to develop our consciousness which is appreciated
Our beautiful little place in the nature of the most extensive universe
To free ourselves from our continuing exhausting fears
Let us create a simple perspective in our unnecessarily tense and short but precious life.
