hi everyone I’m asha jain and i am the
2013 Wisconsin State Geography Bee
champion I live in a small town called
minocqua which is 200 miles north of the
state capital Madison which obviously
you all know and minocqua is very close
to the border with you p although it’s
the end of a from there is plenty of
snow outside which you can probably
already seen in my town winter sports
are extremely popular people like to go
downhill skiing costs crunchy skiing
they like to let’s see snowmobiling is a
big one people my age love snowmobiling
and people also like to go ice fishing
in which when the lake is completely
frozen they drive their trucks onto the
ice and they sit down and fish if I
could go anywhere in the world i would
go to Rio de Janeiro Brazil I learned
through geography that Rio is very
famous for its beaches of I Panama
Copacabana and Leblon along with the
beaches I would definitely go to see the
world famous carnival and in Christ the
Redeemer statue if I’m lucky enough to
go left next year I would go to see the
2014 fifa world cup soccer finals that
are going to be held there if not next
year I would try 4 2016 in which the
Summer Olympics are going to be held in
rio and i would love to see the swimming
stars of ryan lochte mouth missy
franklin’s competing in their events
this is my fourth time going to the
National come
mission for the past three years me my
family have been going for my brother a
bunch Jane but this year we’re trading
places this year I get to compete in the
competition while he gets to watch when
I grow up I want to become a
cardiologist because science and
geography are my favorite subjects and
I’m really amazed on how the human body
works this year I participated in
science olympiad in which I learned a
ton about the human body while studying
for the anatomy test there are a lot of
things to do in my state of Wisconsin in
a small town called Eagle River about 20
miles away from an aqua there is the
annual World Championship snowmobile
derby and also I’m going to town called
Hayward Wisconsin there is the annual
cross-country ski race called the berkey
Byner which is also very popular but the
most famous is wisconsin dells which
there are many different water park if I
could change places with any person I
would change places with christine
lagarde of the International Monetary
Fund I would change places with her
because I would look I would like to
help other countries financially
