we’re in Kruger National Park in South
Africa this is the remains of a river in
the middle of the dry season and it’s
one of the few remaining places the
local animals can quench their thirst
without this murky water they die in one
day you’ll see the entire pageant of
nature in all its wonder and terror in a
severe drought like this some desperate
animals learn to cooperate a baby
crocodile has adopted a hippo as a kind
of half mother half private beach other
animals attack and battle each other
it’s all about the water will an animal
rush forward despite predators lurking
or will it flee from the possible danger
I’d risk my life for that water but
crocodiles with hair-trigger reflexes
lay in wait sometimes the Crocs do
nothing
more often than not they do what they’ve
been doing for millions of years
everybody’s looking for a safe haven it
might be true that no man is an island
but a hippo is well that’s a whole
