I think one of the more interesting
things about to Conner Boy and we still
got a lot to learn is that it it was an
individual who died with with disease
fairly far advanced bone disease and he
had a spine that looks like it had
deformities he wasn’t a fully
functioning robust shortly to be a
teenager type he was probably a person
who needed a lot of help
bipedalism carried with it an enormous
price where compassion was what you paid
you to give it you simply can’t abandon
somebody who’s incapacitated because the
rest will abandon you next time it comes
to be your turn for me personally it was
an interesting reflection obviously when
you have two good legs you don’t think
about their value but when you have your
legs amputated after an accident as I
did you suddenly recognized without legs
you are totally dependent on other
people one leg doesn’t get you anywhere
either you have to have both if you get
yourself prepare and look after yourself
and so I believe behaviorally there was
a premium put on bonding care love
affection and protection all which you
could encompass in the world compassion
