hey I got a good luck great story for
you back at my shop maybe lean we used
to have a field car racing Friday night
and we just pick up junk cars on the
side of the road and we’d race them
around the field man then we had quite a
track set up with cones and stopwatch
everybody and it just started getting
out of hand you know so we tried to
figure out a way to slow on everybody
god I mean we were having 40
mile-an-hour collisions and you know
it’s getting bad somebody’s going to get
hurt so we raced backwards that was the
most logical thing to do instead of
racing forward let’s race it in reverse
you know do the whole track and reversed
and it was it was all stopwatch race and
you know you go and it was pylons the
course was also the hit of pylons that
costed you five seconds you know if you
went on the outs me too blatantly blew
them off when I on the outside was like
a 15 second penalty yeah backward racing
was kind of fun but then we come up with
another genius idea we said blindfold
racing all the way we took them we put a
motorcycle helmet duct tape duct taped
it up I mean it was real blindfolded do
you looking through duct tape so then
because a lot of people wanted to play
and it was just taking all day long we
only really had one car running at a
time so this way two people could be in
the car and accomplish the same thing
and also you pick a partner pick names
out of the Hat you get a partner and
then you’d pick again who is going to be
blindfolded and who’s going to be your
navigator well one of my buddies I drew
one of my buddy swear to God dumb as a
rock so I didn’t I didn’t trust him to
net to beating my navigator that’s
another way I’m gonna be blindfolded
with this fool sitting in the passenger
seat so I said I’m better I’ve telling
him what to do so we put the duct tape
howling over his head pulled the car up
to the start line somebody said go he
floored it mini he knows the track even
he knows they got to go about a hundred
yards then he got to make a laugh Denis
I make it right I mean we know the
tracks in your mind you got it in your
mind right so I said floor at Mike floor
he floors that freaking car we go flying
down the track he knows there’s a left
what’d he do he turns right I said no
left left he would turn the car to the
left and he would correct his hands
well we only went like that we’re still
going straight I said turn left turn
left ran right over two or three cones
you know there’s five points there’s no
way we’re in the money now he just ran
over friggin three pylons so I said Mike
when I tell you to turn left turn left
and hold your hands laughs let the car
come around here he’d go like this and
he’d straighten it back out you know off
the card it was so going to itch so he
turns his head and looks at me and says
he says how am i doing now I said you
know I’m just fine turns his head he
looks at me and suction how am i doing
now I said you’re doing just fine I said
run it straight away headed back for the
garage yeah okay he’s looking at me
shaking nothing Holly yeah okay I said
you’re on the final straightaway headed
for the garage I said Florida Sun who
tolerate on the floor really he stomps
that son of a he’s going dead away from
the ground you as a head grow on the end
of the gravel pit oak tree that freakin
big around I said little to the right
little chill the right he turned us
little to the right I looked up I looked
up the windshield I said man this is
gonna hurt I put my hands and feet up on
the dash at it car how we doing Pat how
we doing I says you’re doing great hold
it right there he hit we get three so
hard the back wheels come off the ground
his face he helmet went through the
windshield cut his chin chin strap
caught him vent the steering wheel over
forward I’m County a decade come a poof
I Jove him straight into a tree at 40
miles an hour it was blindfolded he’s

stared wailing just want booming you
call him the stupid son of a I drove
