TIL: If You Like Tequila, You Should Love Bats. Here’s Why. | Today I Learned

hi my name is Rodrigo me Regina I’m here
to convince you that bats are your best
friends
bats pollinate many many plants that are
incredibly important if you’ve ever seen
a wild west movie with those great big
cacti growing up there they’re there
because the bats have been pollinating
and dispersing the seeds of those cacti
and also if you like tequila well guess
what you owe it to the bats that’s
pollinate the tequila plant that is
called agave so if you like tequila next
time you drink tequila you toast the bat
that’s tequila two of my favorite things
in the world
