The “Ten Essentials” | Are You Tougher Than A Boy Scout?

5:30 Sun’s up they’re not are you still
asleep
when horn went off I didn’t know where I
was I don’t know if I was in the
gymnasium in high school we’ve been kind
of slow there come on I’ve been lying in
bed waiting to get up because I was
expecting something to come and get
started bright and early because that’s
always what happens in scouts we’re
gonna do a patch check ten essentials
every Scout always has to have is ten
essential every Boy Scout enters the
wilderness prepared for any situation by
packing ten essential items pocketknife
first-aid kit extra clothing rain gear
water bottle flashlights trail food
firestarter sun protection maps and
compass all right Paul
let’s see what you got in there ten
essentials let’s go Stu matches shovel
dig with rain poncho I know I have
everything I need and I think my old
Scoutmaster would be proud of me I’m
doing the best I can
I’m living the Scout law out here and

nobody said this was gonna be easy by
any means and I will be the last one
standing just to prove to my kids that I
am tougher though Boy Scout after the

actual plates and a cup ones they don’t

no I’d get a compass it’s a good thing
to have yeah big reason I’m here is to
show them my three best friends who got
their Eagle Scout that I could have done
it and if they were to see how my pack
was packed they’re gonna think that that
was embarrassment
