The Hair and Make-Up | Killing Jesus

we’ve got a lot of hair and makeup on
this is a historic piece we have a lot
of facial hair we have a lot of wigs we
have quite a lot of prosthetic makeup on
this as well it’s quite a feast for us
actually in terms of makeup we have I
think it’s a 91 characters on this and
each one of them we had to find the
unique look for some days we have 200
people coming through as extras and I
have an amazing team on this one I
couldn’t do this job without them I mean
really they are one of the best teams I
think I’ve ever worked with some of the
the most challenging things on on this
particular job have been the weather in
terms of the heat that we have to deal
with and the actors they’re wearing you
know they’re wearing heavy costumes
they’re wearing wigs are wearing beards
it’s like having a sort of a hairy hat
on your head really I suppose and in
this heat that we’re working in and and
it causes you to sweat quite a lot we
tried as much as possible to keep to you
know the the time period the research
side offers quite good fun you know we
quite enjoy going through and trying to
replicate something as close as as
possible
the carefulness are amazing you know and
it’s a beg beg cast and just everybody’s
been so lovely and just really good fun
