hi I’m gay I live in New York City when
he is in my opinion the greatest city in
the universe I think because it’s such a
melting pot of cultures I really love
living here people come here from all
over the world so that they can work
learn and just to fill their dreams I’ve
had teachers from Nigeria Russia Serbia
Mexico even the Balearic Islands of
Spain and it really in New York
everybody is from someone and has a
story so I think as you can see in New
York we have to live vertically because
there’s not much room so behind me you
can see Central Park way off in the
distance over there part of the
construction part of the fun of living
in New York is that everything is
comfortable
who on the circle on the Time Warner
building where they broadcast CNN
so now geo you’re some questions for me
I’m
fascinated with geography but partially
because I’ve been fascinated with some
of the other things I really love
science history languages I used to kind
of fascinated with just about anything
so geography is a common thread that
ties everything in the world together if
you understand geography you can
understand different layers of other
things and how they interconnect with
each other so TR and well also I kind of
just loved map so I really always have
and I think
I think I’d really love to go to monkey
sleeping Europe’s I could see the wild
horses and the nomads on the steps and I
can visit the flaming cliffs I’m really
interested in paleontology so and the
flaming cursor is really famous
paralyzer logical site where you can see
all sorts of dinosaur crosses so that
would be really cool
try to make a difference with climate
change his climate change the really
global issue and it’s a long-term effect
on everybody it would try to create an
international coalition to stop the
effects of climate change on the world i
unite I get together the best minds from
every field the scientific experts
community leaders industrial leaders
politicians diplomats from all over the
world to try to create a solution to
stop the effects of global warming
I’m thinking about going into medicine
education or international diplomacy
because I want to do something where I
could help people everyday and make a
real difference in the world and also
keep learning new things
I once read somewhere that in New York
there are over 800 languages spoken and
to me that just seems really amazing
I think my favorite place is the
American Museum of Natural History it’s
a place where I’ve been going since I
was like 2 or 3 years old and it’s a
place where I’ve constantly been
learning new things every time I go
there like in the Hall of human origins
I learned about Lucy the fossil human
from Ethiopia and in the Hall of Planet
Earth I learned about different rock
types and undersea volcanoes and it I
think for me it’s a place where I could
go every single day and learn something
different
well everybody knows about the Statue of
Liberty the Empire State Building in
Central Park
Ellis Island really famous things but I
think if you want to experience the real
New York you have to do what the real
New Yorkers do every day to get around
which is go underground construction
began on the New York City subway in
1869 when they used to get the excess
dirt at the top however this is only
open in 1904 now there are over 450
stations just like this
the only school in the country it was
ravaged by Dutch immigrants in 1628 and
the city was still called New Amsterdam
yeah it’s a very tall building twelve
stories so my friends and I have to run
up and down 12 flights of stairs every
day to get to class
be curious get a good apples and now
NatGeo
I have a question for you what is the
world’s oldest subway system family in
1863 the answer the London
