hey I’m Matthew alert and this is New
York my home state I’m coming at you
right now from brooklyn bridge plaza for
all these yard if you fans out there
it’s the point where the East River
meets the Hudson River getting my
background water taxi Brooklyn Bridge
top of the Empire State Building and if
you look closely the most famous symbol
in the largest city in the USA the
Statue of Liberty this is my school
great knack North middle school I’m an
eighth grader here and this is where the
GOP all began for me all the 3 years I
was in the state no even when I was a
kid I was more concerned with the where
than the one of stories and fairytales
so when I came here I created a game
called the country game with about 50
people from third fourth and fifth grade
we all create countries throughout maps
of them it was a really fun game we even
had a Model UN behind me is the United
Nations one of the most important
buildings in the world and one of the
great things about living New York is
that we have such a huge diversity of
cultures here that’s what I love that
geography it’s the cultures it’s the
people here we are now on nil mech road
this is the heart of great neck I like
to come here with my friends every
weekend to eat see movies have a good
time oh hey I’m studying right now oh
just study as I go and I pick a country
and I research everything about it
planning a ridiculous amounts of
information into my handy notebook and
this is my second notebook actually and
they have everything I’ve researched
inside of them right now I’m doing Italy
and I’m not studying you’re in town you
could usually see me right here playing
video games on my way I’m 35 stories
about midtown Manhattan and this is the
beautiful view that you see when you’re
up here I don’t think this could be
matched anywhere else in the world other
than here
20 years from now you can expect to see
me behind the podium in politics running
for office as congressman senator maybe
even president hop on the campaign
wiggler 45 for a better future I’d love
to stay and chat a bit more but I have
to go and catch my class bye sorry I’m
late I have to do my geography video
