Meet Dallas Seavey | National Geographic

when you win the Iditarod as my dad has
done and now just recently I finally
accomplished we’ve become somewhat of a
representative for the state of Alaska
I’ve been the youngest person ever to
finish the Iditarod youngest person to
win the Iditarod youngest person to win
the Yukon Quest you don’t know the
Seavey brothers this is the most
competitive family on planet earth I
think my mindset and douses as well
comes from the the Seavey family there’s
not a if for you know we might succeed
at this is something we could try it’s
this is how we are going to do this and
that mindset is everything people series
is a great opportunity the competitive
drive was like nothing I’ve seen my
entire life is focused around efficiency
and speed that’s the key to winning
races by nature the smaller the group
the faster you’re gonna move Dallas is
setting the pace for him it’s too easy
for the rest of us humans yeah you gotta
catch your breath once in a while
