we’re out here putting critter cams on
leopard seals
we saw for the first time on video ever
and act of klepto parasitism one leopard
seal cotton captured some food and
another leopard seal will come up fight
with and then try to steal the food of
another leopard seal
now that we know that klepto parasitism
is happening we have a much better
understanding of the different ways that
leopard seals can impact the ecosystem
around them
there’s no getting around the fact that
Antarctic fur seals are ridiculously
cute
