Leg 2: Brent Sass | National Geographic

well another awesome day on the Yukon
today we floated down had a blast on the
raft the raft started to sort of get a
little waterlogged here today so we’re
sinking a little bit lower tomorrow
we’re gonna have to show her it up a
little bit before we hit those rapids we
made good progress before we left camp
this morning Matt caught a grayling we
were out fish and I had one on he stole
my spinner but we were able to be able
able to secure one grayling for our trip
down the river we snapped on that fried
her up in the gold pan we had some Roe
some fish eggs fried up which tell him
to be really really good and yeah we
just had a really smooth day floating
down the river we got to got to this
campsite and it’s just been a wonderful
day on the Yukon actually feeling kind
of sad we’re gonna have to leave the
Yukon River here it’s it’s been a hell
of a voyage we got a little bit of an
adventure hopefully up ahead of us here
with the rapids so we’re gonna show up
our boat here tomorrow and get ready to
hit the Yukon overall this has been a
completely amazing trip so far I’m just
having the time of my life out here this
is where I belong and I’m here with
people that belong here as well it’s for
guys I’m with our newfound friends and
I’m feeling like I’m building some
lifelong friendships here we’ve worked
together really well as a team and once
we get through these Rapids up ahead
we’re looking forward to the to the
adventures that lie ahead of us
throughout the state of Alaska where
we’re ready to go see a new a new part
of this wonderful state Brent sass
