one of the most fascinating things we’ve
learned about attraction it is embedded
in the brain it is hardwired into the
brain attraction actually begins in very
primitive early development stage areas
of the brain and only later does it kick
into gear in the more symbolic areas of
the brain so at first its visceral and
then our consciousness finds creative
ways of trying to justify that kind of
visceral attraction we know we’re
attracted to certain facial symmetries
we’re attracted to the golden ratio so
it’s all algorithmic right it’s all just
written it’s all written into us we’re
just nothing but a piece of software
running this program that says mate with
this mate with that love can be broken
down to chemicals its dopamine its
oxytocin passion and romance that fire
that impulsively draws you to another
person all written in chemicals people
talk about free will people talk about
choice all really an illusion but a
worthwhile one at that you know believe
the dream is real while you’re in it as
they say but yes it’s all software we’re
just wired to mate that’s all we are
we’re attracted what we’re attracted to
is written in our DNA
