it’s the rutting season mid-july to
mid-august that means the female bison
here are in heat and that means these
males are getting down and dirty for the
chance to mate with the females the
male’s called both stands six feet tall
in the shoulder and get way over 2,000
pounds when a mammal they throw every
ounce of that weight into the ferocious
fight
the Bison have taken cats of hair on
their head shoulders the cushions some
emotion but still this is a fight to the
end
one of these bison is going to survive
to mate with female she’ll bear one calf
next April or May rituals like this
