D for Denver | National Geographic

come on dog city juice kg and I are in
Dodge City Kansas hunted for priceless
Wild West artifacts from legendary
lawman Wyatt Earp and Bat Masterson
we’ve been hunting their old turf in and
around Dodge hoping for a one-of-a-kind
sheriff badge or a colt 45 and kgs just
got an amazing hit look at this I think
I got a silver dime I’m thinking this is
probably a scenic coin dropped out of
Wyatt Earp’s park Viet now that could be
a Carson City dime that could be worth
the foul so there it is you can that’s
silver that’s beautiful
start cleaning it off slowly Mercury
dimes were minted in 1916 to 1945 and
the 1916 D is my holy grail of coins
it’s extremely rare we’re tons of money
but almost impossible to find I’ve had
my share of close calls ah 1936 1927
1917 so I’m not getting my hopes up so I
just kind of start looking for the date
on it swore out but I can see a date on
it good see ya 1 9 then a 1 and then if
I look really hard oh you’ll never
believe it you will never believe this
ringing look at it
that’s a 1960s the 1950s if this is a
1916 D this could be the greatest coin
I’ve ever found the mint marks right
under this wreath here oh wait a second
and I start looking for the mint mark D
for Denver looking looking and I think I
see part of a D I’m saying I got a 1916
D ring yes
Talia I don’t know kgs got an awesome
1916 dime but I’m not sure I really saw
a D on the back it would be right here
under the wreath but I don’t see it
we’re gonna have to get an expert
opinion
