real simple find out what makes you
happy
energized and gives you a thrill and do
that some people should be in nature
some people should be in the city there
are some folks bless their heart they
should never leave the sidewalk one of
the things that I’ve told some of my
friends so what are you gonna do when
you grow up and I’ll tell when I grow up
I’m gonna be a kid run around the woods
wait in the water look at the animals
Lansing it took me some time that I
figured it out I was married I have two
daughters and four grandkids I used to
have a really large house several
thousand square feet and a huge mortgage
payment after getting divorced and
filing bankruptcy I decided I’d livens
cheap and simplify could I pick this
particular piece of land to live on
because for me a mosquito infested snake
infested alligator infested River
floodplain swamp was ideal you could
take me most anywhere in the woods
blindfold me and let me up my eyes I’m a
walk around in a few minutes that table
where I’m at
I’ll use all these different hand tools
to build this cabin it took me about 10
years to gather the material and it took
me only about four years to put it
together I actually built this house
every single boat every screw every male
every piece of wood I found it harvested
brought it here if I were to win the
lottery and have a lot of money I still
wouldn’t buy electricity to me it’s just
being practical I’ve been drinking river
water for 20-some years and so far I’ve
never had any side effects time doesn’t
really matter out here don’t have my
watch on don’t know what time it is
don’t really care I know it’s daylight
that’s enough for me

could be a weekend but probably one of
those I’m not sure we can live like this
for thousands of years in hundreds of
generations if you simply respect the
land and leave it as you found it make
it better don’t tear it
