Burnside on Ference | Beyond the Puck

I got to know Andrew a little bit during
the playoffs last year sort of Boston on
a tremendous run that would lead to
their first Stanley Cup since 1972 and
spending some time in the dressing room
and chatting and I will see this that on
any team if you’re covering there are
always guys to become your go-to gun so
guys that you know
well that are thoughtful and guys it
will not necessarily just fish off the
the cliches and andrew is one of those
go-to guys she’s very thoughtful God he
thinks the game very well i think is why
it’s a part of his success as a player
but he is very fun when he thinks
outside the box and so he’s just a
really engaging guy so he must say
selfishly as a reporter he’s one of
those guys that you like to see in a
dressing room because he can help you
out and he just gives you sort of a
richness to your copy that might not
otherwise be there
