Bolts of Despair | National Geographic

I haven’t found any gold yet I’ve found
fool’s gold and iron ore right now I’m
frustrated so far I’ve paid 3400 to rent
out these ball mills I’ve got to get
inside these giant rock crushers that I
think contain gold and I’ve only got the
weekend to find out that stuff is
pounded in there it’s looking like the
dirt that may contain gold is trapped
between the inner plates and the outer
shell of the ball mill if you can get
that bolt off the plate should just fall
right out not gonna be fast I’m not
gonna sleep I’m not gonna eat until we
get behind those plates
not what’s is bendin okay really
I didn’t realize there’s gonna be quite
this much of a hassle just to get bolts
out it’s ridiculous these things are
worth $35,000 and I’m totally liable if
I damage them right now I can’t let that
stop me I know there’s gold in there and
I don’t care what I have to do to get it
I am not liking life I’m not liking this
project there’s not much I’m liking
right now I’ve been wanting to do this
for so long and I can’t believe that
it’s bolts that are keeping me from my
dream
