hi I’m captain Tammy gray and I am the
capita board the real action here in
Hatteras village and I’m gonna take it
through a walkthrough of the boats
she is a 77 stapleton and she was built
in Miami Florida and she was built for
more of a cruising kind of boat
she’s like a Cadillac it’s my beanbag
chair this is where my mate Dido she
kind of sits here watches debates chills
out on the beanbag chair this is my
outside helm station I use this when we
have a fish on back here I can see the
line where the fish is going if he’s
trying to get into the boat I can throw
the boat in gear and kind of bump it
ahead this is a tuna bin this is where
we brine our tunas when we get them in
the boat you kind of get skip a icy
water bath kind of twirl them around a
couple times and get a spat chilled up
nice and nice and thick this is this
fishing gear in here we keep our squid
bars and we keep phooeys and downriggers
and this is our safety gear this is for
the Coast Guard whenever we do an
inspection we have all of our lifejacket
survival suits first-aid kits flares
back here we keep our ice in here more
fishing stuff in here shovels for the
ice crimpers Billy’s extra spools for
the greenstick and come on inside I’ll
show you the cabin so you got a little
fridge here a little mini fridge we keep
our snacks mayonnaise lunch meat hummus
have a little bait freezer over here
keep our base value and some macaroni
and cheese
nothing like macaroni and cheese it
tastes like valley-goose this is my
electronics
my home station autopilot temperature
gauge it’s my favorite plotter
he’s my daughter Paloma she’s a reason
why I’m out here every day this is my
bottle machines I got to buy machines
this is for deep water this was for not
so deep water my radar
tea radios and I have speakers for the
radios outside so if I’m outside and
we’re fighting a fish I can still hear
what’s going on in you down below this
is a little galley down here not much to
it we’ve got some crock pots and some
frying pans in there if we really want
to get creative in the kitchen
happen much this is a forward bunks so
where we can sleep comfortably or we can
pile rods up either to bathroom bathroom
we don’t me to use much it’s kind of
more for storage
they prefer buckets kind of everything
you need on a boat this is pretty comfy
folks thanks for coming and I guess
we’ll see you out there on the blue
water
