Being Sergei Korolev | American Genius

I’m the head of the Soviet space program
genius I believe feels very much like
being a carpenter or cobbler some of us
are born to do one thing and in this
case I was born to take humanity to
space I was able to put the first
satellite into space Sputnik able to put
the second satellite into space I was
able to put the first memo like a dog
into space but the first man first woman
and first pair of people into space
seeing a rocket take off and become part
of the atmosphere is like what I imagine
adding children is like want to succeed
you want them to succeed millions of
years we as humans have traveled around
space on this one little dot in the
night sky and now going forward everyone
for ever will know that Sergei Pavlovich
Korolev was responsible for sin in the
first man into space and returning him
safely it means that now we will be able
to travel to other worlds other solar
systems I think what we’ve USA shall
have over the United States is that we
have tenacity we buckle down and put our
efforts into the work and believe it
seems that the Americans make a lot of
effort to advertise fortunately no one
seems to know who I am but everybody
knows who furnish an Brahmas I feel that
the worst thing that Vanna von Braun did

and Sergei Pavlovich Korolev

thought that space travel will one day
be viewed as a given taken for granted
is disappointing to me but I wake up

I know that it is but a building block
it’s a stepping stone into other forms
of technological advancement and I am
but a contributor standing on the
shoulders of giants and I would like to
be the giant the shoulders of whom
others stand
