toning Emilia’s garden is being overrun
by an invasive plant species honeysuckle
they plan to feed the honeysuckle to
rabbits in order to transform this weed
into a viable food source their neighbor
has agreed to trade three breeding
bunnies for a sampling of products from
their homestead Janine lives on a farm
she’s a great friend of ours you really
appreciate her willingness to trade with
us and help with the rabbits here we’re
gonna bring her blueberry jam some honey
maybe some beeswax nettles some other
greens from the garden will bring some
mushroom logs as many goodies from our
garden and our home as we can well I’m
ready here we go it’s too hot I think
I’ll sit right now this is just too much
should have done this at night man Sun
is beating down on us today and it’s
really kind of exhausting but sometimes
you just got to tough it out got work to
do
you’ve got trades to make bartering to
do all right
Oh got it hey everybody we got a bunch
of organic matter for y’all Oh Janine
started it’s really cool school that’s
sort of earth skills-based like
agriculture and hiking around in the
woods and you know real things that in
my opinion actually matter and she’s got
rabbits
so these rabbits they can really read
frequently like when they have a litter
it’s like 8 to 10 rabbits each time
awesome they can breed like 4 times a
year so we could get all our meat from
these 3 critters you’re funny man your
eyes are weird do you think that they
know we’re gonna eat their kids do you
think that they’re aware of that all
right let’s load them on the wheelbarrow
and get them back yeah that’s our car
these days is a wheelbarrow that fits in
pretty well by me guys later
