Amazing Slow-Mo: Rare Tiger Released Into Wild | Short Film Showcase

let’s go sir what you do
this rolling silk oh my god
she is mad come on baby
all right here we go
oh here she is is that it so small it is
it’s hotter in there no
so look at this bad boy it is called a
phantom camera now this camera shoots at
1500 frames per second so what that
gives us is super super slow motion here
we go what do we have here
absolution on the right there that’s one
of the only pictures that we have some
Lulu she is a wild Siberian tiger
rescued as an orphaned cub and now we’re
going to try to release her back to the
wild now this time around we want to do
something different because this is what
we’ve been facing in the previous
releases there she goes
but right there that’s the problem
that’s what we’re up against it’s over
like that we see the tiger for
approximately two seconds yeah that’s
that’s not what people want they want to
see the tiger so really we have to do a
better job at this we’ve never seen a
wild Siberian tiger filmed in super
slow-mo like this this could be a chance
to get something that’s never been done
getting this shot it’s so important we
really have to slow that tiger down so
people have time to admire this
beautiful animal and want to protect it
we have five days to learn the camera
get all the way to Far East Russia and
get this shot
bye-bye
that’s perfect
Jana and more than 30 hours we hope you
have a pleasant but the club weather in
Vladivostok is clear the temperature of
15 degrees Celsius or 59 degrees
Fahrenheit
we are basically in our hotel we just
checked in we’re gonna be in this thing
overnight drive through the night and
get to the release site
the Tigers about three vehicles ahead of
us we’re just following along and we’re
in for a long drive
I think we’re maybe 10 15 minutes away
from heading into the forest there’s no
roads so that’s why we need to talk
about an all-terrain vehicle this is a
Russian military tank that we’re going
on we’re counting down and yeah see how
it goes she just yelled at me and I
didn’t like it
so we’ve bought a placemat yeah I think
so it’s a nice little corridor that she
at least has to take a few steps we
think and then she can turn off and they
seem happy with it yeah so we’re going
to drop the cage we are on the clock and
we’ve got to get our cameras set we’re
running eight cameras I believe we got a
move we’re just getting it laying the
cable we’re gonna have to be all the way
back there in the tank looking through
the window to trigger it so basically
once it’s set that’s it
you
Oh
come on baby
he’s going down it’s the whole bit hold
things down
cubone
losing batteries
so we’ve had several failures lift
now I tried it up on the tree we are
almost out of batteries so we have no
way to charge so this could be a
disaster okay we’re ready for another
try it has got to work this time
all right here we go here we go here cuz
the dog
oh yeah
oh my god
she went the worst possible direction
for us I don’t know what we’re gonna get
oh my god David okay let’s go all right
this is the wanted to keep your eye out
for Tigers I mean it was terrifying
walking towards that camera just to see
what we got
I’m freaking out I’m nervous forget it
I look in their press PLAY to review the
shot she’s gone she’s gone
we missed the shot I’m thinking did you
did she run over did I push the button
the wrong time did I push it too soon
did I push it too late what the hell
happened this trip I mean basically the
trip was a waste is she really is that
her there she is oh my god that is
pretty cool
thank God it’s beautiful we got oh my
god that’s awesome you see that first
joke
the claws look at the claws there’s only
around 350 Siberian tigers left in the
wild to think the Tigers may not be
around for much longer it’s just some
believable I don’t want to have to
explain to my kids why there are no
Siberian tigers left we got to share
this footage around you got to show
everybody what we with squeeze
you
