communication but just because we like
rhymes does that mean we can be
influenced by them are we more likely to
believe a statement if it rhymes my
research shows that rhyming statements
are easier to understand that non
rhyming statements this is a phenomenon
called cognitive fluency and it explains
why we use proverbs and nursery rhymes
to teach children what a statement is
pleasing to the year it also turns out
to be less difficult to understand and
easier to believe people have come to
equate the aesthetic qualities of a
statement with its believability if the

take a risk about the cost of things
ya know what did they think when the
exact same idea was put into a rhyme
don’t roll the dice when it comes to
price yeah for the kind of true let’s

taste shouldn’t go shopping distel make
things and now the rhyming version
shopping can be a waste if the buyer has
no taste I’ll good for we seem to have
demonstrated that it works but about a
