what’s up guys my name is Charlie I’m a
biologist and a science filmmaker and I
want to take educational nature media
turn it on its head take it to the salon
and give it a whole new look there’s a
new generation of kids out there with
incredibly short attention spans
in a mystery of buzz oh my gosh
something happened we want to give them
a new style of nature media that they
can really get jacked up about so what
are we gonna do first
my small team and I want to produce an
internet-based educational nature film
series and make it available online for
anybody who has access to a computer we
want to make something epic something
new something quick and relatable
involving you and everybody else out
there to produce our show we’ll be
embarking on an expedition across the
United States exploring the coolest
forests in the entire country it’s gonna
be awesome and with the support of our
partners Black Hawk paramotors and the
Cornell tree climbing Institute we’re
gonna have a pretty epic time we’ll be
climbing some of the tallest trees in
the world flying over the most
incredible forest you’ve ever seen and
exploring all of the hidden treasures
underneath these canopies and you guys
will be able to be a part of it all
during our expedition we’ll be working a
video blog in other forms of social
media so that you guys and everybody
else can be involved you’ll be able to
chat with us give us suggestions and
actually view part of the production of
our show in today’s time where the
natural world is being faced with some
very real problems it’s more important
than ever to get people amped up about
the environment the $50,000 awarded by
National Geographic will go towards
travel and equipment expenses that will
help us get things done let’s get some
kids psyched up about nature yeah I’m
pretty pumped about this I hope you are
too please consider giving us a click of
support thanks so much for listening get
excited
