on your time like when you think you’re

because the period did you feel ready
and people are not acknowledging the
material the way you feel like this show
could be good it’s the time that you
actually develop skin thick enough to
survive when it does work first of all
you have to make sure that this thing is
for you and it’s who you are and you’re
built for this you know and then you
have to give it the passion that’s
necessary you know like I said I don’t
do it for the money the money is going
to come I do it because of the love that
I have for it you know I’m saying if I
was a plumber or something like that I
still would make hip-hop records that’s
how much love I have for it you know I
feel like right now I’ve been in the
game close to 27 years and I’ve actually
thought about fish just recently out of
the entire 27 by 27 year career there’s
only been two weeks that I’ve been out
of the studio then I’ve never been out
of studio longer than two weeks in my
entire career that’s how much love I
have for this thing that I do so that’s
the thing just a passion that you have
for it and really really put your all
into it and make sure that your word is
the last word that way you don’t you
know you don’t play the blame game or
anything like that if it comes out hot
it’s on you but doesn’t come out hot
it’s on you
you’re insane that’s all it is to it

was reserved and I was shy and had it in
me but wasn’t quite sure how to bring it
out yet I wanted people to hear me so
bad I’m going to do my fit but it was
like you know an jitters and them scared

I hope struggle and everything
especially early on for me which I love
being on stage and stuff like that once
I got a mic I was cold but it was that
prompting needed to do it it get up
there and not be scared to grab that
engine and just block I feel like
anybody can do anything in such
emergency it depends on how bad you want

its own copying it but if I was like

can’t play basketball or like every
other black person in America but I can
ask I know how to go to their church by
myself because I’m there every day I can
be neat I can be whoever because I’m
sure to me I can go to new so even a lot
of people black white Mexican young or
old fat or skinny have a problem being
Xinxin itself they have a problem
looking in the mirror and looking
directly into their own soul the reason
I fell six million records the reason I
can sort of jail and come out without a
flat please not to walk around the
reason I am why instead because I can
look directly into my face and far my
photos they’re not sold I didn’t sell it
still within me still kill me my heart
is still connected to my body
there’s nothing that can actually
compare to one is right what it feels
like when it is right music is just dead
right and it’s like that energy it is
this manual is so suspensions on the hop
that you get addicted to and you chase
it for the rest of your actual career
when you feel that feeling what is your
first album checking out and third album
just a single there’s a lot of artists
have a career long enough for one song
you know but we feel what that feeling
is you ain’t gonna replace it you know
when you make music you got to please
yourself
you know that’s the only way you’re
gonna continue to drive themselves to
doing this for so long and if you don’t
agree or like what you know the type of
Records this you know being made you
know other stores you’ll be walking we
understand we do this sort of people
that’s in line we pull up to the games
we do this for the for the fans that we
love that were standing in line that
it’s like get they sub-matrix even
covers me and those are people talking
to those

the first time I grabbed the mic like
though like in front of action people
that mattered family get a hit a club I
got boo remember that very dramatically
I’m speaking to my longevity I think is
the fact that I’m a perfectionist you
know and I listen to everybody to know I
mean even on a being I listen to
classical music sometime I listen to
heavy metal I just listen to everything
you know and really I listen to you know
the stuff that’s not selling you know
it’s easy to pick up a hit record and
know what people are buying
I’m not going to sit inside of a
corporation for 20 years the time is now
the time is now to express and for
people to believe in themselves the time
is now for it to be okay to be great
people in this world shutting people for
being great for being a bright color for
standing out but the time is now to be
okay to be the greatest you

know that every day when I’m leaving
it’s just what to go for

choose to come up you know every time I

want them to be like they know what I’m

those with the brain that will change

impress people with with my music I do
feel like I gotta get in and do do my
music to the best of my ability I know
and I feel like I’m my worst critic you
know if if I’m not digging it
the critics out there can basically like
kiss my ass straight up because they
know nothing about what goes into this
they’re just people with a nine-to-five

so just following my heart really
everything that I’ve really done up at
this point was something that you know
something I really you know something I
really had love or passion yeah because
if it’s lifestyle I feel like you know
we’re gonna win that another man at this
you know fashion is you know something
to deal with you know because give a lot

I think one of my greatest inspirations
were things that I was feed off of
basically we just obviously people not
believing and you know their cloud of
doubt they kind of I felt hung over my
head and wanted to just prove everybody
wrong you know I mean I wanted to make
it and I was going to make it regardless
of what anybody said

I think people are limited
because they’re very well influenced by
people that surround them or people
that’s in the media you know you see
some money criticized or something
you’re not going to do that you know I’m
saying I don’t think like that I’m only
going to do what I like

you know I had to convince myself that
I’m going to make it you know regardless
to how people felt at that time and what
it does is it makes it makes you feel
like what made me feel like there’s
going to be points to people don’t
mistake my confidence for arrogance
because I’ve had words they don’t
understand process government and how
much I had to believe in myself and
others and making things happen I kind
of I felt you can will yourself in so
good space things are meant to happen
will as you’re believing yourself enough
you can help yourself learn you can
inspire yourself in different ways we
can actually discipline anything you
know to the point that you can become
good enough like from 97 like when I
started writing it was full-time like
every day I’m writing because I had no
choice if I was gonna stop talking and
then how was I going to provide all
