I never will forget my Alice my life was
shaped in part through tragedies and the
weird thing about tragedies is that they
don’t tell you that they’re shaping you
it doesn’t feel like they’re shaping you
but they are in fact shaping you the
tragedies don’t start when you need the
power from them they start early through
interest over time and in retrospect
when you look back over your life to you
understand something that you didn’t
understand in real time speed can I get
a witness when you’re going through it
you kind of feel sorry for yourself but
after you’ve gone through it you look
back and you say eventually if you’re
mature it was good for me that I’ve been
afflicted I was about 16 years old
and my father who had been sick for a
number of years was passing away and he
was laying in the bed and he said
something to me that really had a lot to
do with shape of my life he said by the
time I figured out what life was all
about it was time to go and you can
imagine in your impressionable years of
16 that kind of scared me to death
I saw it then as a challenge and thought
I gotta figure this out quicker than he
did because I don’t like that narrative
that by the time I figured out what it
was all about it was time to go I
figured him telling me that gave me an
advantage to become sober to become
focused more readily and to think
through the process more quickly and so
I started paying attention and
everything and it was good I learned a
lot I learned a lot done a lot of people
did my age because death teaches you to
live yeah it teaches you what matters it
teaches you how to focus it made me a
little bit more serious it made me
precocious because I was incubated in an
adverse circumstance it prepared me for
a destiny move that I didn’t even see
right then
but God’s hand was in my pain God’s hand
how many of you recognize that God’s
hand was in your pain yeah yeah God’s
hand what was in my pain and so I tried
to focus and Mutulu quickly and it was
good because little did I know that that
just like I didn’t have a childhood
because sickness took it I didn’t have a
young adult life either because ministry
took it I started preaching at 19 I was
19 but I couldn’t think 19 I had to
think like I was older than I was even
though I was 19 started pastoring at 22
pastoring at 22 years old and almost
every member in my
was older than me and I thought I’ve got
to figure this out quickly because I was
teaching on things I hadn’t done like
marriage or parenting
I started pastoring without a wife
teaching about something I had never
done means you have to read you have to
study you have to research in order to
keep up in order to be able to help
people and be able to encourage people
but I learned later in life that nothing
takes the place of experience I mean you
can jumpstart it you can get ahead you
can imagine some things you can read
some things but there are certain things
about marriage you can’t teach till
you’re married and there are certain
things about parenting you can’t teach
to your parenting and depending on what
stage of parenting you’re in there are
certain things that you don’t understand
about that process until you have
endured it suffered to it cried through
it made mistakes in it had setbacks in
it almost collapsed in it almost ran
from it and after you have experienced
it experience redefines your ideologies
you find out through experience that a
lot of things you thought weren’t the
way you thought they were that’s why you
ought to be careful about speaking out
about things that you think that haven’t
been proven yet because sometimes you
will damage somebody with your thought
that later in life you don’t get to come
back and say I’m sorry because you
criticize something that you really
didn’t know what you were talking about
if you ever said something you really
didn’t know what you were talking about
I have I didn’t know that I didn’t know
what I was talking about that I didn’t
know what I was talking about I said it
based on my perspective there’s a
scripture I want to read with you and
I’m headed somewhere I’m not just
rapping you know me
out of Romans 5:3 it says and not only
so but we glory in tribulation for
tribulation trouble work of patience
trouble getting them stuff you can’t get
out of
you can’t fix can’t hit a button and
change can’t write a check and repair
can’t show them whatever it is that
you’re gonna your degree and get out of
can show them how pretty you are and get
out of tribulation will teach you
patience hallelujah and patience
experience in the waiting for us
sometimes God just lets you wait put you
on a hold so that you will have
experience God anybody had an experience
experiences are important because
experience will give you hope
glory to God you’ll be surprised I wish
I could do my life over again if I could
just play it all over with the
experience do you know how much better I
would have slept at night do you know
who I would have not responded to when I
look back over my life you don’t have
anything I was all upset about that what
worked the level of energy I put into it
at the time if I could go back and tell
my young self sitting on the side of the
bed crying over what somebody said I
want to walk over to the bed simply you
go to bed the times I ran out of money
and thought I would end up homeless and
sleeping up under a bridge and the times
I wondered was I’m man enough to have a
wife and two kids and would I be able to
hold it down if I could go back tell
myself said boy you got it

just because your circumstance don’t
reflect it right now does it mean that
you don’t have it believe in yourself
and get up out of there and go do what
you’ve got to do experience gives you
hope what does that mean
see I got experience now it’s not that I
don’t run up against things that
challenged me but I have a resume when
the enemy attacks me now I started
telling how many times God brought me

I’ve been sick before I made it I’ve
been broke before I made it I’ve been
brokenhearted before I made it I cried
all night but I made it
I’ve been betrayed but I made it I’ve
been lied on but I’ve made it I didn’t
destitute but I’ve made it I’ve been
rejected but I’ve made it you see how
the people with experience are non named
clapping because they each one of us has
our own testimony that are physically
where we busily hope maketh not ashamed
experience gives us hope and hope will
not let you be a shame I want to share
with you along these lines some more
just giving me a message we want to talk
about King David a little bit people
always remember and talk about how you
laid it and your king or your you’re the
President or you’re the Pope or whoever
you are but they don’t understand what
all you went through to get there
that you have to have a certain amount
of experiences to prepare you for the
next level I was working when I did a
show with Millennials this past week it
was it was really interesting we were
bright brilliant intelligent articulate
educated Millennials and I was telling
them some things about there are some
things that you learn in the process in
the painful grumbling of climbing up to
a place rather than being zapped to a
place the things that you went through
getting there give you the tenacity to
stay there the fight is your friend
the fighting process gives you a drive
of vigilance are a commitment to it that
that you can stand the pressure of being
it because nobody gave it to your own
credit you earned it you scuffled for it
you fought for it and now you can hold
it down most dangerous thing in the
world is to get something you didn’t
earn because the process prepares you
with the power you need to hold your
ground and another thing when you fight
for it you won’t let nobody take it from
you oh yeah

is that you didn’t earn it if you get do

friend of mine was telling me that they
were gonna will everything to the baby
they just had a baby and said we know
we’ll everything but everything is a lot
of you know everything is like a lot
millions of millions now said we don’t

reroute a little bit but you’re gonna
get that just him and say he’s gonna get
there and David arose and went with all
the people that were with him from Vail
of Judah to bring up from this the Ark
of God whose name is called by the name
of the Lord of Hosts that dwell up the

it’ll be rerouting and while it’s
rerouting you still standing there you
say well wait a minute I’ll Drive it
when you get through rerouting should I
be going forward
should I taking a ride said I’ll take
the lift when you’re in a state of
rerouting it’s aggravating because
you’re trying to make progress
and you’re rerouting this is an answer
to somebody right now you’re trying to
go ahead you’re trying to move you’re
trying to figure it out and you’re at a
buffering moment and God said you’re
journeying over the promise was not
alive I’m still gonna do it I might not
do it the way you imagined it this is a
moment of rerouting test 3 people say
rerouting rerouting we’re out

didn’t even know you were standing you
you good rerouting the destination
hasn’t changed but the method has the
destination hadn’t changed but the map

take you another way you have slowed

to pull over to the side of the road and
admit that you didn’t you never knew
where you were going in the first place
that you’re at the mercy of the
directions I’m giving you and you will
have to stop right in the middle of the
journey and wait on me but when I get

I’m gonna reroute you we’re out three

see when you’re buffering you need to
understand that we serve a God of
rerouting we serve a God who reboots

over again God of mercy as early as the
New Testament as early as a book of
Genesis you will see the reap refix real

you know from the beginning if you hit a
buffering spot I got a back-up plan
to get you through the crisis in your
life now I won’t say what I heard some
preachers say growing up because I’ve
seen preachers get up to say I the Lord
gave me a sermon and and he changed his
mind I’m a little bit afraid of that I
think maybe he was confused in the first
place and you had a sermon you wanted to
preach it maybe after you it got up
there with your word then God gave you
his word and it felt like God changed
his mind but in reality what you gave up
on your plan God stepped in and gave you
what he had in mind from the foundations
of the world I think that that’s just me
I might be wrong but I think that’s what
happened David was doing a good thing he
was trying to do a good thing but just
because your intentions are good doesn’t
mean you won’t buffer David was trying
to bring back the darker to cover put
mark up there they was trying to put up
there are bring back the Ark of the
Covenant he was trying to do something
that his predecessor had not done his
predecessor had ruled without glory the
Ark of the Covenant had not been present
for 20-some years and David makes up his
mind that he is going to bring back the
glory he has positioned but he wants
power he wants the glory of the Lord to
go with him in a way that his
predecessor didn’t she saw wasn’t
worried about glory he was just worried
about position something that as all
they care about is position they don’t
care about presence but David is theme
the presence of God over the positions
of
I hope you don’t allow men to seduce you
into accepting positions that did not
presence you are the presence of God
more than you want the position for
without the presence of God the position
is nothing at all
somebody say give me the glory David
said it’s important that I have the
glory I’m a fighter but I still need the
glory I have defeated armies but I still
need the glory I’m an eloquent speaker
but I still need the glory
I have galvanized rejected men and
turned them into an army but I still
need the glory I’m on my way up but I
still need the glory see some people
only want the glory with their down but
even on your way up you still need the
glory somebody say bring back the glory
so he comes with the Ark of the Covenant
the Ark of the Covenant symbolizes the
glory of God it is made of wood it is
overlaid and inlaid with gold it is an
expression of Jesus Christ himself from
the Old Testament it has within its
comprise the law of Moses symbolic of
the fact that the law is fulfilled in
Jesus Christ it has the rod of Aaron
that budded to give us a hint at the
fact that God will bring life out of
death inside it also has a part of manna
to let us know that Christ is the bread
of life your father’s ate manna in the
wilderness and perish but I am the true
bread that cometh down out of heaven all
of that was in the Ark of the Covenant
the two angels on both sides are
standing pointing to a place where the
Shekinah glory would
the Shekinah glory would rest right here
and shoot up out of the tip and out of
the temple because this is the mercy
seat all of that is about redemption
restoration renewal and Davis trying to
bring it back let me tell you how
important it was whenever Israel had the
Ark of the Covenant even unbelievers
were horrified there were certain
battles that the enemy will start
running just because they were carrying
the Ark of the Covenant now to various
circumstances they had lost the Ark of
the Covenant and Davis ends up under my
leadership I’m going to bring back the
glory this is a good mission but just
because you mean good does it mean that
things go right let me tell them just
because you mean good doesn’t mean that
things go right you can have great
motives and still interrupt and enter
into a miserable place it is a horrible
feeling when you know that your motives
are right and yet you’re still in up in
a miserable place because we think that
if you’re going about the right thing
you shouldn’t have bad problems but the
reality is the more you’re going about
right things the more you’re gonna have

reconcile people and he’s got 30,000
people watching him in his first move of
power to come back to Jerusalem to

thing to have a mess in front of
everybody that’s following me if I’m
gonna have a mess

a good plan to bring back the glory he

in the middle of the road have you ever

just when you’re about to step into your

God

had no right to have the Ark of the

but because david has lost confidence in
himself and in his mission god moves

Israelite cuz God will bless whoever
will open up the door

how he broke him he started blessing
somebody else David was saying I don’t
care you know
all obed-edom daughters are pregnant all
of his fields are growing bringing in
twice as much increase look like
everything obed-edom touch it’s getting
blessed and David’s ass
because God says if you won’t receive
this blessing I will give it to somebody
else and I’ll let you watch me bless
somebody else with the blessing that was
meant for you I’ll do it right in your

Humble himself and he says I want to go

stop lying about what you care about
because the priest dose the anointing is

care cuz caring hurts but the anointing
is in the caring that’s why God is using
something you care about to make you
stop being phony to make you humble
yourself down and admit I do need

say I don’t care what they think
I’m willing to let my hair down I’m
willing to get down on my knees I do
care I don’t know who I’m preaching to
but somebody in this room stop saying
you don’t care about something you do
care about I do care and he says I want
it back somebody holler I want it back
I don’t know what your it is but I want

again now why go back if you aren’t
willing to change to keep doing the same
thing the same way expecting a different
result it’s lunacy
okay I’ll wrap this up and I want you to
get this that means you got to be
willing to be rerouted you have to be
willing to change the way you take
you’ve got to be willing to accept
responsibility that the way you did it
the first time was wrong you built a
heart God didn’t want to be on the cart
the cart wasn’t biblical in the first
place I don’t have time to teach it but
God never wanted to dwell on the back of
a cart he wanted to rest on the
shoulders of his freeze you messed up
you meant well but you did it wrong and
you have to humble yourself and say I
got it wrong and I’m willing to change
somebody hollered change so he said just
what I’m gonna do let me give you this
these are the things you need to change
three things he changed he changed his
plan he changed his place he said this
time when we get it back I’m not gonna
put it on a cart I’m gonna put him on
the backs of the shoulders of the
priests we’re gonna make contact with
God we’re not gonna let anything
standing between us and God this time
we’re gonna be personally involved this
time I’m gonna have the weight of glory
on my shoulder the weight of glory it’s
gonna be on my solar the weight of glory
is gonna be on my shoulder I’m not gonna

this time I’m not going to take the
position and not do the job I’m gonna

I started paying attention and
everything and it was good I learned a
lot I learned a lot done a lot of people
did my age because death teaches you to
live yeah it teaches you what matters it
teaches you how to focus it made me a
little bit more serious it made me
precocious because I was incubated in an
adverse circumstance it prepared me for
a destiny move that I didn’t even see
right then
but God’s hand was in my pain God’s hand
how many of you recognize that God’s
hand was in your pain yeah yeah God’s
hand what was in my pain and so I tried
to focus and Mutulu quickly and it was
good because little did I know that that
just like I didn’t have a childhood
because sickness took it I didn’t have a
young adult life either because ministry
took it I started preaching at 19 I was
19 but I couldn’t think 19 I had to
think like I was older than I was even
though I was 19 started pastoring at 22
pastoring at 22 years old and almost
every member in my
was older than me and I thought I’ve got
to figure this out quickly because I was
teaching on things I hadn’t done like
marriage or parenting
I started pastoring without a wife
teaching about something I had never
done means you have to read you have to
study you have to research in order to
keep up in order to be able to help
people and be able to encourage people
but I learned later in life that nothing
takes the place of experience I mean you
can jumpstart it you can get ahead you
can imagine some things you can read
some things but there are certain things
about marriage you can’t teach till
you’re married and there are certain
things about parenting you can’t teach
to your parenting and depending on what
stage of parenting you’re in there are
certain things that you don’t understand
about that process until you have
endured it suffered to it cried through
it made mistakes in it had setbacks in
it almost collapsed in it almost ran
from it and after you have experienced
it experience redefines your ideologies
you find out through experience that a
lot of things you thought weren’t the
way you thought they were that’s why you
ought to be careful about speaking out
about things that you think that haven’t
been proven yet because sometimes you
will damage somebody with your thought
that later in life you don’t get to come
back and say I’m sorry because you
criticize something that you really
didn’t know what you were talking about
if you ever said something you really
didn’t know what you were talking about
I have I didn’t know that I didn’t know
what I was talking about that I didn’t
know what I was talking about I said it
based on my perspective there’s a
scripture I want to read with you and
I’m headed somewhere I’m not just
rapping you know me
out of Romans 5:3 it says and not only
so but we glory in tribulation for
tribulation trouble work of patience
trouble getting them stuff you can’t get
out of
you can’t fix can’t hit a button and
change can’t write a check and repair
can’t show them whatever it is that
you’re gonna your degree and get out of
can show them how pretty you are and get
out of tribulation will teach you
patience hallelujah and patience
experience in the waiting for us
sometimes God just lets you wait put you
on a hold so that you will have
experience God anybody had an experience
experiences are important because
experience will give you hope
glory to God you’ll be surprised I wish
I could do my life over again if I could
just play it all over with the
experience do you know how much better I
would have slept at night do you know
who I would have not responded to when I
look back over my life you don’t have
anything I was all upset about that what
worked the level of energy I put into it
at the time if I could go back and tell
my young self sitting on the side of the
bed crying over what somebody said I
want to walk over to the bed simply you
go to bed the times I ran out of money
and thought I would end up homeless and
sleeping up under a bridge and the times
I wondered was I’m man enough to have a
wife and two kids and would I be able to
hold it down if I could go back tell
myself said boy you got it

just because your circumstance don’t
reflect it right now does it mean that
you don’t have it believe in yourself
and get up out of there and go do what
you’ve got to do experience gives you
hope what does that mean
see I got experience now it’s not that I
don’t run up against things that
challenged me but I have a resume when
the enemy attacks me now I started
telling how many times God brought me

I’ve been sick before I made it I’ve
been broke before I made it I’ve been
brokenhearted before I made it I cried
all night but I made it
I’ve been betrayed but I made it I’ve
been lied on but I’ve made it I didn’t
destitute but I’ve made it I’ve been
rejected but I’ve made it you see how
the people with experience are non named
clapping because they each one of us has
our own testimony that are physically
where we busily hope maketh not ashamed
experience gives us hope and hope will
not let you be a shame I want to share
with you along these lines some more
just giving me a message we want to talk
about King David a little bit people
always remember and talk about how you
laid it and your king or your you’re the
President or you’re the Pope or whoever
you are but they don’t understand what
all you went through to get there
that you have to have a certain amount
of experiences to prepare you for the
next level I was working when I did a
show with Millennials this past week it
was it was really interesting we were
bright brilliant intelligent articulate
educated Millennials and I was telling
them some things about there are some
things that you learn in the process in
the painful grumbling of climbing up to
a place rather than being zapped to a
place the things that you went through
getting there give you the tenacity to
stay there the fight is your friend
the fighting process gives you a drive
of vigilance are a commitment to it that
that you can stand the pressure of being
it because nobody gave it to your own
credit you earned it you scuffled for it
you fought for it and now you can hold
it down most dangerous thing in the
world is to get something you didn’t
earn because the process prepares you
with the power you need to hold your
ground and another thing when you fight
for it you won’t let nobody take it from
you oh yeah
y’all didn’t hear what I said when you
fight for it
you won’t let nobody take it for you the
reason you quit you keep quitting stuff
is that you didn’t earn it if you get do
slightly forward you like to walk away
and quit you will say I cried too long I
suffered too much I did without I had to
crawl

gonna be you know how your life is gonna
be when I moved to Dallas it’s gonna be
such a such a way when I get married
it’s gonna be such a say when we had the
baby it’s gonna be such a such a way but
things are always go to where you you
think I got a friend of mine wealthy
friend of mine was telling me that they
were gonna will everything to the baby
they just had a baby and said we know
we’ll everything but everything is a lot
of you know everything is like a lot
millions of millions now said we don’t
will it to the baby I said I wouldn’t do
that if I was you and said when I said
you all know that joking yet

wants you to be stuck in a situation
that it’s beneath the promises of God in
your life and the Lord gave me a word to
tell you
that what he promised you is not alive
you may have to reroute oh my god who am
I talking to today you you may have to
reroute a little bit but you’re gonna
get that just him and say he’s gonna get
there and David arose and went with all
the people that were with him from Vail
of Judah to bring up from this the Ark
of God whose name is called by the name
of the Lord of Hosts that dwell up the
tween the cherubims and they set the Ark
of God upon a new card and brought it
out of the house of abinadab that was in
Gibeah and other and Ohio the son of a

driving the cart and they brought it out

your your GPS will say rerouting and and
it’ll be rerouting and while it’s
rerouting you still standing there you
say well wait a minute I’ll Drive it
when you get through rerouting should I
be going forward
should I taking a ride said I’ll take
the lift when you’re in a state of
rerouting it’s aggravating because
you’re trying to make progress
and you’re rerouting this is an answer
to somebody right now you’re trying to
go ahead you’re trying to move you’re
trying to figure it out and you’re at a
buffering moment and God said you’re
journeying over the promise was not
alive I’m still gonna do it I might not
do it the way you imagined it this is a
moment of rerouting test 3 people say
rerouting rerouting we’re out

you may be seated you didn’t even I
didn’t even know you were standing you
you good rerouting the destination
hasn’t changed but the method has the
destination hadn’t changed but the map
I’m gonna get you there but I’m gonna
take you another way you have slowed
down you’re gonna have to risk looking
like you know what you’re doing you have
to pull over to the side of the road and
admit that you didn’t you never knew
where you were going in the first place
that you’re at the mercy of the
directions I’m giving you and you will
have to stop right in the middle of the
journey and wait on me but when I get
through spinning when I get through
spinning your whole world may be
spinning but when I get to is spinning
I’m gonna reroute you we’re out three
rest whoo god I’m talking to somebody
see when you’re buffering you need to
understand that we serve a God of
rerouting we serve a God who reboots

recycles we serve a God who does things
over again God of mercy as early as the
New Testament as early as a book of
Genesis you will see the reap refix real

you know from the beginning if you hit a
buffering spot I got a back-up plan
to get you through the crisis in your
life now I won’t say what I heard some
preachers say growing up because I’ve
seen preachers get up to say I the Lord
gave me a sermon and and he changed his
mind I’m a little bit afraid of that I
think maybe he was confused in the first
place and you had a sermon you wanted to
preach it maybe after you it got up
there with your word then God gave you
his word and it felt like God changed
his mind but in reality what you gave up
on your plan God stepped in and gave you
what he had in mind from the foundations
of the world I think that that’s just me
I might be wrong but I think that’s what
happened David was doing a good thing he
was trying to do a good thing but just
because your intentions are good doesn’t
mean you won’t buffer David was trying
to bring back the darker to cover put
mark up there they was trying to put up
there are bring back the Ark of the
Covenant he was trying to do something
that his predecessor had not done his
predecessor had ruled without glory the
Ark of the Covenant had not been present
for 20-some years and David makes up his
mind that he is going to bring back the
glory he has positioned but he wants
power he wants the glory of the Lord to
go with him in a way that his
predecessor didn’t she saw wasn’t
worried about glory he was just worried
about position something that as all
they care about is position they don’t
care about presence but David is theme
the presence of God over the positions
of
I hope you don’t allow men to seduce you
into accepting positions that did not
presence you are the presence of God
more than you want the position for
without the presence of God the position
is nothing at all
somebody say give me the glory David
said it’s important that I have the
glory I’m a fighter but I still need the
glory I have defeated armies but I still
need the glory I’m an eloquent speaker
but I still need the glory
I have galvanized rejected men and
turned them into an army but I still
need the glory I’m on my way up but I
still need the glory see some people
only want the glory with their down but
even on your way up you still need the
glory somebody say bring back the glory
so he comes with the Ark of the Covenant
the Ark of the Covenant symbolizes the
glory of God it is made of wood it is
overlaid and inlaid with gold it is an
expression of Jesus Christ himself from
the Old Testament it has within its
comprise the law of Moses symbolic of
the fact that the law is fulfilled in
Jesus Christ it has the rod of Aaron
that budded to give us a hint at the
fact that God will bring life out of
death inside it also has a part of manna
to let us know that Christ is the bread
of life your father’s ate manna in the
wilderness and perish but I am the true
bread that cometh down out of heaven all
of that was in the Ark of the Covenant
the two angels on both sides are
standing pointing to a place where the
Shekinah glory would
the Shekinah glory would rest right here
and shoot up out of the tip and out of
the temple because this is the mercy
seat all of that is about redemption
restoration renewal and Davis trying to
bring it back let me tell you how
important it was whenever Israel had the
Ark of the Covenant even unbelievers
were horrified there were certain
battles that the enemy will start
running just because they were carrying
the Ark of the Covenant now to various
circumstances they had lost the Ark of
the Covenant and Davis ends up under my
leadership I’m going to bring back the
glory this is a good mission but just
because you mean good does it mean that
things go right let me tell them just
because you mean good doesn’t mean that
things go right you can have great
motives and still interrupt and enter
into a miserable place it is a horrible
feeling when you know that your motives
are right and yet you’re still in up in
a miserable place because we think that
if you’re going about the right thing
you shouldn’t have bad problems but the
reality is the more you’re going about
right things the more you’re gonna have

reconcile judo to Israel he’s about to
enter into reigning and he’s trying to
reconcile people and he’s got 30,000
people watching him in his first move of
power to come back to Jerusalem to
reconcile the kingdom it’s one thing for
me to be miserable by myself
to make a mess by myself to have a
secret struggle by myself it’s another
thing to have a mess in front of
everybody that’s following me if I’m
gonna have a mess
let me have a mess by myself 30,000
people are following him to Jerusalem
dancing and shouting about how smart and
how great he is and then he started
buffering he had built a new cart he had
a good plan to bring back the glory he
had built the cart and designed it to
travel
it’s a 10 mile stretch he has to go he
has 30,000 people behind him everybody’s
looking at his new cart
everybody’s bragging about him bringing
back the glory all David David David
their dance and dance and dancing and
did all of a sudden they hit a pothole
in the middle of the road have you ever
hit a pothole in the middle of the road
just when you’re about to step into your
destiny just when you’re about to
finally show the devil who’s boss just
when you’re about to see the promise of
God
come to pass the hot slipped the cart
moved the Ark of the Covenant started
sliding other tried to save it
love touched it and died in front of
everybody it turned into a mess and God
the Bible says God was angry because
other touched the ark Moses was angry
because God killed other the trip
stopped and David started luckily just
when everything was going great
he started buffering put my buffering

about buffering it always starts when

mess up all the stuff you do for
yourself by yourself always goes awry
because if you could be your own God you
wouldn’t need God and sometimes God is

you thought his greatest presence was
when everything was going right but
God’s greatest presence should look when
all hell is breaking loose I think he
said I am a very present help in trouble
so if you don’t get in trouble you’ll
never have an experience living to you
if you never get in trouble you’ll never
have an experience with God how do you
go no he’s a healer if you never get
sick
how you don’t know he’s a provider if
you never get hungry
how you gonna know you the waymaker if
you never get lost

you get mad you get hurt the card slides
all hell breaks loose you don’t want the
devil to know that you are sick so you

I feel ministry in this place right now
that thing said being the most to you
will always hit a point where everything
starts buffering david said out here let
obed-edom have obed-edom had no more
right to the Ark of the Covenant than a
man in the moon he was a get tight he
had no right to have the Ark of the
Covenant
but because david has lost confidence in
himself and in his mission god moves
into the house of a get tight and stars
blessing the get tight as if he were
Israelite cuz God will bless whoever
will open up the door
whoa I feel like right now and David was
just a buffering and a buffering and a
buffering and a buffering and a
buffering and while he were he buffered
for three months three months God in
saying that David in the same method
they both upset they just a buffering
see sometimes when we get mad at God we
think that if we stick out our lips and
pout long enough that we’ll have a
tantrum and God will change his mind
and God is saying I spat that little
temper in you that you got right now I’m
tougher than you are and so you got a
buffer to your brain you got a buffer to
your brain you got a buffer to your
brain
you have to buffer to your brain you
have to buffer to your brain and this is
how he broke him he started blessing
somebody else David was saying I don’t
care you know
all obed-edom daughters are pregnant all
of his fields are growing bringing in
twice as much increase look like
everything obed-edom touch it’s getting
blessed and David’s ass
because God says if you won’t receive
this blessing I will give it to somebody
else and I’ll let you watch me bless
somebody else with the blessing that was
meant for you I’ll do it right in your
face
our prepare a table and let you be a
spectator at a meal I’ll knit for you

and all of a sudden David begins to
Humble himself and he says I want to go
back I do care tell my sad Duke here
stop lying about what you care about
because the priest dose the anointing is
in your care you’re running from the
care cuz caring hurts but the anointing
is in the caring that’s why God is using
something you care about to make you
stop being phony to make you humble
yourself down and admit I do need
I do love I do care I am thirsty I am
broken old Lamb of God I come I’m on my
knees I fall out I collapse I break my
alabaster boss I don’t care what people
say I don’t care what they think
I’m willing to let my hair down I’m
willing to get down on my knees I do
care I don’t know who I’m preaching to
but somebody in this room stop saying
you don’t care about something you do
care about I do care and he says I want
it back somebody holler I want it back
I don’t know what your it is but I want
it back I want it back
I want it back said said again say it
again now why go back if you aren’t
willing to change to keep doing the same
thing the same way expecting a different
result it’s lunacy
okay I’ll wrap this up and I want you to
get this that means you got to be
willing to be rerouted you have to be
willing to change the way you take
you’ve got to be willing to accept
responsibility that the way you did it
the first time was wrong you built a
heart God didn’t want to be on the cart
the cart wasn’t biblical in the first
place I don’t have time to teach it but
God never wanted to dwell on the back of
a cart he wanted to rest on the
shoulders of his freeze you messed up
you meant well but you did it wrong and
you have to humble yourself and say I
got it wrong and I’m willing to change
somebody hollered change so he said just
what I’m gonna do let me give you this
these are the things you need to change
three things he changed he changed his
plan he changed his place he said this
time when we get it back I’m not gonna
put it on a cart I’m gonna put him on
the backs of the shoulders of the
priests we’re gonna make contact with
God we’re not gonna let anything
standing between us and God this time
we’re gonna be personally involved this
time I’m gonna have the weight of glory
on my shoulder the weight of glory it’s
gonna be on my solar the weight of glory
is gonna be on my shoulder I’m not gonna
get up ops to bear the weight of the
glory I’m gonna bear the weight of the
glow
this time I’m not going to take the
position and not do the job I’m gonna
put the weight on my shoulder I’m gonna
be responsible I’m gonna stand up to it
that’s why I’ll be here I’m talking to
some battle no idiot but but you gotta
accept the way you can’t have the glory
have not take the weight so number one
he changed his plan number two he
changed his pace for the Bible said that
when they put the Ark of the Covenant on
the shoulders of the priests the Bible
said they started pacing and if you read
it in the original Hebrew it means big
steps God said if I’m gonna do this in
you you can’t be taking these little
itty bitty steps talking about gradually
someday sooner or later
give me time it just takes me more time
I’m not ready yet God said I’m not
walking with somebody that’s not ready
yet I’m walking with somebody who’s
gonna take big paces I don’t know who
I’m preaching to today but this is your
season to take big paces I want somebody
to take a big step somewhere
