I think there’s massive confusion around
entrepreneurship entrepreneurship sucks
I mean it’s lonely it’s high-risk I mean
I can’t live without it but it’s like a
bad boyfriend right or a girlfriend
right like like it’s there’s a ton of
bad days being an entrepreneur
not to mention 98% of entrepreneurs fail
I love the climb to me the setback is
exciting I love something goes wrong
it’s where I shine the most everybody
right I mean it can be very difficult
and when you start affecting your life
and you loved ones and all the other
things they can get real nasty
the way I handle things even though the
few rare days when I really struggle I
take a real step back and make pretend
that somebody called me and told me that
my mother or daughter were killed and I
know that’s very dark and I apologize
but it’s really what I do I literally am
able to at my deepest most struggling
moment within business take a step back
and remind myself so that I could make a
drilled in dollars tomorrow on Bitcoin
and and if something bad happened to the
people I love the most that it would be
nothing and it very consistently rewires
everything in life is on you it’s not
your dad’s fault who was a drinker it’s
not your boyfriend that you know cheated
on you it’s not your girlfriend who’s
always putting me down it is your
fundamental fault
the second you make that decision then

defining their hopes and dreams and
wants and needs on their terms not on
what I say I don’t care if you want to
hustle 18 hours a day I really don’t I

think you see me all the time talking
about like self-awareness are you one
this is the golden era for
entrepreneurship people ask me for
the only advice I’d like to give to
everybody is to do you to find what your
North Star is to understand yourself to
understand what your work-life balance
ambitions are how much what your
financial ambitions are what your life
challenges are the problems that you
want to try to solve and cure as we all
do as humans trying to climb those
different mountains in our lives what
makes you tick that is all that matters
don’t do you know I don’t think dailyvee
or or all these videos for you to be
like me I don’t think anybody should be
like me Boyan or their enormous amounts
of pressures and sacrifices that I
recognize are just not healthy or
valuable to anybody else but it’s also
not healthy or valuable to me to do some
what you do is you position yourself to
succeed so for example if you’re doing
something else at you and you want to do
this thing you love you do it after
hours you work 9 to 6 you get home you
kiss the dog and you go to town right I
mean you start building your equity in
your brand and whatever you’re trying to
accomplish after hours you everybody has
time if you can’t look for the bright
side or or look at the half glass full
or be optimistic instead of pessimistic
if you can’t do that you just absolutely
have no chance of winning because it’s
all how one synthesizes what’s in front
of them you know what I mean like it’s
like life’s hard enough the game’s hard
enough the markets hard enough against
you that if you’re against yourself
that’s two stacked the deck becomes too
stacked if you lack optimism it’s game
I try to suffocate out bullshit
and excuses right I feel like you’ve
gotta attack the well not the sink
mm-hmm I don’t want to get people tactic
I don’t want to give them a thought or a
five-step program or hint it’s binary
either you’re in the right place or
you’re not and so I think the thing that
I’m trying to do is give people
permission to do things that they want
to be doing and what I’ve come to
realize through this journey as I’ve
started building an audience is the
permission is not worrying about what
the inner circle thinks my big thing my
big revelation to myself is oh these
people are worried what their mom is
gonna say right they’re worried what
their girlfriend’s gonna say they’re
worried what their their husband’s gonna
say they’re not doing things because
there’s a fuckload of 50 year olds that
think their life is over I think it’s
over because they’ve been playing for 30
years professionally they’re tired
they’ve been an accountant for 30 years
they hate it but they don’t see any way
out because they don’t realize that
they’re sincere in life because they
don’t realize for there’s Facebook
groups because they don’t realize that
they can do a blog because they don’t
realize they’re a great writer and if
they did 14 medium posts they can blow
up and so I’m on a mission to get them
to understand that there’s still 30 40
years of amazing things modern health
these people gonna be healthy for
but I promise you you will not get there
with your big idea it doesn’t matter cuz
most of you won’t execute against it the
reason I put out all my best stuff that
I’m liked and I don’t charge for it is
somewhere along the line I realize that
99.9% of you aren’t gonna do anything
about it
you’re gonna ponder it you’re gonna get
super pumped up when you watch me say it
and then three weeks later you’re gonna
give up cuz you’re not willing to pay

this shit that you and I did a couple

few that actually win at the levels that
