I don’t agree with the terms introvert
and extrovert and introvert being
someone who is reserved an extrovert
being someone who is outgoing because I
feel we both have a bit of introvert and
extrovert within us if you place an
extrovert in a cage with a lion they
might be silent if you place an
introvert in a cage with the lion they
may scream out ah if they have enough
time left these labels we throw on
people in society is our way to cope
because we don’t know what to do when
people start to question reality growing
up I loved being with people but at the
same time I had very little time a small
talk even till this day a conversation
has to stimulate me and that’s how many
so-called introverts ah they are not shy
they just need to be in the right crowd
that can bring out the best energy
within them because even growing up for
me at an early age I could see through
the Maya I could see that it was all
nonsense people were watching television
like it was real and in my mind I said
no this is just acting but people took
it so literally crying shouting and I’m
just like hey it’s just acting
so a lot of the times I would be reading
about the human psyche and I had a lot
of alone time but in that time it was a
beautiful experience for me and that’s
how many introverts are if you see them
alone it’s not because they don’t like
being social it’s maybe because they are
working on becoming the greatest
versions of themselves they’re not being
snobs they are being introspective they
are starting to see that we are so much
more than what we have been told even
till this day I love talking to all
kinds of people but when I have family
coming over sometimes
sorry to say this I love talking to them
but at the same time it’s hard for me
just the talk for the sake of talking
but at the same time I’m learning more
and more that sometimes you always have
to accommodate people just to see where
they are coming from but if you place me
into a diving deep conversation like
when I used to go to the barbers so many
empowering books I was there talking for
over five hours so an introvert
extrovert these are all man-made terms
give yourself your own unique definition
and stay free forever we’re here in
