many people who are depressed they are
literally in a state of deep rest
depression is not a mental illness it is
a state of extreme exhaustion let me
repeat that depression is not a mental
illness it is a state of extreme
exhaustion I’ve been depressed and so
has the cat down the road every one of
these 7 billion people on planet Earth
has been depressed at some point it’s a
state of extreme exhaustion no shame
about being depressed ok depression is
actually a gift from the gods to say
actually red flag alarm going off you
need to be in a state of deep rest
because if you keep on pushing yourself
if you keep on pushing yourself there’s
gonna be an accident I know what it’s
like there was a time when I was so
exhausted I was studying I was working
at the same time and I was so tired I
was in a state of deep rest and what I
learned was it’s ok to be in a state of
deep rest you see what helped me get out
of that state however was to immerse
myself in it which was the great paradox
I had to feel the depression and when
you do this without an escape mechanism
you’re not now turning to alcohol or
you’re not
now self-destructing if you can learn
how to be and sit with the emotions of
depression without judging yourself
that’s actually how you heal from your
depression deep divers in other words
means you have to practice more
self-care
it’s a warning it’s a helper to say
actually now it’s time for you to put
you first it’s time for you to go out
into nature and practice more eco
therapy and wolf breathing that good ass

total body awareness which is where you
immerse yourself in the present moment
which is where you actually now move
into your body and you actually become
aware you practice mindfulness
meditation every single day what am I
doing with my body right now
because a lot of us we’re not here we’re
not inside of our body we’re thinking of
something far out into the future or
we’re stuck in the past that’s why we’re
depressed you have to look at it like
this movement is a great way to heal
your state of deep rest and your state
of depression so once you’ve learned how
to sit with the emotions and once you
allow yourself to take that deep rest
okay after four or five days you’ve been
really resting in nature now it’s time
now deep dive it’s time to start moving
it’s time to start getting physical
exercising walking hiking swimming
taking the cat down the road for a walk
get active okay because once again our
body is the subconscious mind slow
motion this side so stop moving around
it might look weird but that’s a great
way to heal your depression because
because the divers depression is
suppression
many people who are depressed cannot
express themselves I found my voice I
learned how to express myself and
therefore that the depression the
depression subsided learn how to speak
your truth even if your voice shakes
learn how to stop living a life that you
know is making you miserable
stop pretending on social media for
goodness sakes deep divers okay
stop pretending stop faking a life be
real to yourself be more authentic 7 day

push-ups getting physical it’s a choice
you can choose to be miserable you can
choose to be happy you can choose to be
angry you can choose to be mad it’s all
a choice you’ve got to start realizing
that you are powerful beyond measure
you’ve got to start realizing that I can
choose to be happy today Deep Diver say

you can shift it you can
move out of your depression by saying I
am consciously going to be happy today
I’m gonna smile more now I’m actually
changing your neuro chemistry inside of
my body now I’m actually promoting
neurogenesis therefore more brain cells
thus increasing the hippocampus which is
linked to less depression what slow
