How to Stop Over-thinking in About 3 Minutes


do you sometimes roll out of bed you’re
like oh wait a minute
why am I thinking that thought I don’t
want to think that thought anymore wait
and even had breakfast yet and by you
saying I don’t want to think this
thought another thought comes here oh my
gosh and you’re like I don’t want to
think that thought either and before you
know it you have hundreds of different
thoughts going through your mind and
you’ve just woken up how amazing is that
you’re starting to get mad right now
you’re looking a bit shaky baby and
you’re like I want to stop thinking
these negative thoughts like a lot of
chatter is going on in your mind alas I
can relate with you it’s what I call the
monkey mind and everyone’s got a monkey
mind hundreds thousands of monkeys
making a lot of noise which are really
starting to get on your nerves right now
swinging from branch to branch telling
you do this do that you screwed up
you’re terrible and then making the
whole lot of noise and you’re like yeah
I should just ignore them and the more
you try to ignore them that other how do
the noise becomes
I’ve realized this it’s not about
escaping from the thoughts you are
having if they are negative you have to
learn how to sit with your emotions
which is the energy in motion you can do
this through meditation once you stop
paying attention to the monkey mind it
starts to calm down and now it is no
longer your enemy and now becomes your
greatest friend once you realize that
deep divers you’re just saying yeah so
